Looks like the stuff sold here is brewed in Thailand still and not some brewed under licence shite from up north. Suddenly I’m feeling very thirsty…. I’ve got some Bowland Bee Honey Pale Ale on the go from a trip up north. Good stuff. 1

Paul_B Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Have this lot literally been on the piss all summer or something?! I've seen better quality football in my back garden
Saint Fan CaM Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Our defensive frailties are all too plain to see. And when we break - well…nothing. 2

BBD is just no target man……still haven’t worked out what he is tbh. Yep. Will Still’s tenure demonstrated that we missed a focal point up front. Getting Stewart back and then Larin in allowed the team play the way it should. This is like watching us with Armstrong or Tasmin up front on their own again. Edited 4 hours ago by The Kraken 2

OttawaSaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Our passing is putrid. Get a fucking grip Saints! 1
benali-shorts Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Dobbin two very poor misplaced passes when in decent positions. Matsuki v lightweight for CM role. Felt undercooked in that half. 1

Saint86 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Colchester are a well coached young side, definitely well organised and able to play to their strengths (which are good for league 2). Saints look poor without an effective CF, reckon we scored 1 or 2 this half with Larin and the balls that have been put in. 3

obelisk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Saints fortunate to reach half time at 0-0. Nearly conceded yet again there. So far there's nothing much to suggest Saints are candidates for automatic promotion. A pedestrian stroll to 7th or 8th is possible I suppose. 3
Window Cleaner Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Well, who could say. Colchester are a league 2 side and are troubling us at the back on occasions. Perhaps Saints will turn up for the second half.

I wouldn't play BBD we havd already seen he cant play football at a decent level but looks OK at another club on loan, why not just loan him out. 2

Harry_SFC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Very worrying given we are a week away from Watford away. Should be 3-0 down to league two Colchester. Yikes. 1
hypochondriac Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Some absolutely awful giving away on the ball in our half there. Not much going forward other than Scienza either. Could really do with Larin.

Baird of the land Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Not very impressive. Hoping we’re willing to bring Shea on.
Saint NL Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Didn't the commentators say that Colchester have played 8 pre season friendlies compared to Saints 3? The rustiness shows 2

A functioning midfield and a number nine that is a nuisance would make a big difference to us in the second half. Charles/Azaz/Larin for Fellows/Dobbin/BBD with Matsuki going wide right. 2

Lighthouse Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I think I’d call that a bit disjointed, personally. Nobody stuck out as particularly good or bad, it just wasn’t cohesive and a few players looked a bit rusty. 5
saintant Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Lots of possession but no cutting edge. Dobbin is far too static and needs to get between the lines BBD just a waste of a shirt. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What does Will of the Inbetweeners say? Well that, was fucking dreadful.

Willo of Whiteley Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I think some saying BBD has been shit is a bit rich, if it were Larin you’d be saying he hasn’t received the right service. I wouldn’t say anyone particularly stands out good or bad. It’s just lack of match fitness and rustiness, it shows throughout. 1
DT Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Cannot for the life of me see the point of playing BBD. If it is 'shop window' it will only allow those peering inside to see how shit he is and not buy him. Is there another reason? Is it national beard day? Or has he got secrets about Spygate we want to keep inside? Whatever it is, it can't be because he can play football 1
The Kraken Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Pundits just said BBD has the fewest touches of anyone on the pitch, with 9. Surprised it was that many tbf. Hopefully big Cyle is available for a 45 minute run out. Also not enjoying Mat-ser-kee in CM. Aside from that, it’s our first team (Azaz aside) so not good at all. 1
