One of the tougher games of the season but we may have gotten lucky by playing them whilst they are having a wobble.

IMO Norwich will be somewhere between 5th-8th by the end of the season so a draw would be par for the course and a win would be a bonus.

They haven't shown they are capable of that so far, a shadow of how they ended last season. We however are 3rd for points won in games so far this season.

This will be a tough game, but count me surprised when I looked at the table and saw Norwich below us - I could have sworn they were doing better, but that may just be a left over feeling of how they ended last year.

Winnable for sure, we need to start sorting our away form out as it's horrific.

Not replacing him or extending his contract strangely achieve the same outcome.

We tried to extend his contract though he refused it - 18 games in 3 years and we tried to re-sign him and he turned us down.

I’d consider giving Dobbin and/or Mubama a proper run for this. We can’t keep relying on Larin up top and someone else needs to step up.

I watched todays game on ITV and I was sure they said that the Norwich game was being shown on there as well but I cant see it anywhere

I thought it was only on Sky Sports Plus

Seems he wants to freshen the squad up this week.  Hinted as such in his interview.

Personally I’d do that by adding a few in weds rather than sat as I think we’ll win well Saturday so can make changes on 60 without worry of result. Away games have been an issue as we’ve got weaker as games have progressed.

Reckon we could see something like this. But he might decide that Bolton at home is better for changes. Wouldn’t worry me if we started this and had firepower to come on with 30 to go. Imagine Jander, Larin, Scienza coming on at 0-0 1-1 etc.

Peretz, Bree, WOOD, Kevin. WELLINGTON, Downes, Jwp, MATSUKI, Azaz, DOBBIN, MUAMBA

We’ve also nearly sold this out. Around 100 tickets left of 2022.

Should be a good atmosphere Tuesday, nothing better than a midweek away game miles from home ( when you win ).

Agree mate but make sure you go on Wednesday not Tuesday

Hopefully shift the last of those tickets

Norwich away always feels like a tough fixture, could easily be another Watford/ Wrexham

We've ended our home hoodoo against the skates, and got our first clean sheet of the season, so hopefully we can finally pick up an away win and tick that particular box.

Some other interesting games midweek

Stoke v Middlesbrough

Millwall v Swansea

Hopefully draws in both of those

At no time ever you should not be hoping for a Boro defeat

He left 16 years ago mate, and he's 53 now. Plus at 5 foot 9 probably too short for a glovesman

Ah yes, Wednesday; that's why I initially couldn't find it on the listings..DOH!  On Sky Sports +, so down the pub it is.

We need to be much better than we were yesterday. Obviously having 11 will help.

Draw I think.

I think we'll see a surprise start for Abbott.

The Pompey game will have taken its toll on player fitness - a lot of energy expended - so wouldn’t be surprised if Tonda makes some changes. The problem he’s got is squad quality beyond the obvious starters is not great and Norwich are a decent team - better than the skates. Difficult one to call - away form not exactly great at the moment, but we’ve hopefully picked up a bit of momentum now. Fingers crossed a 1-2 win to take us into the play-off places.

Welington and Matsuki possibly to start for Bragg and Manning...and Abbott for Bree depending on severity of his wound.

Captain Jack will probably stay in to get match sharpness back.

Disagree with this. We have the following who were not starters against Pompey; Wellington, Wood, Abbott, Roerslev, Jander, Matsuki, Fellows, Edozie, Mubama, Dobbin.

This is a good call.
* Bree may well be feeling a bit second best
* Abbott actually has more first team experience at RB than at CB
* A good way to integrate a new young player into the team without rubbing the incumbent up the wrong way - Plus Wood hasn't demonstrated strong RB ability.

He’s played 9 minutes of football this season. We narrowly avoided shooting ourselves in the other foot by resigning him.

Didn’t think he had played much of a part. Cheers for clearing that up 👍
