Just checked the scores and they're 2-0 down at home 🤣 Currently got it on, my god it's bad. Roma should be 3/4 up without really setting the world alight. I've not watched much of United but seen alot of uproar around their running data and my god does it show tonight. Scarily both in and out of possession. Nothing happening ahead of the ball carrier, any runs that do happen are orchestrated and with only one player. Everyone is walking, some nice flashes from Mainoo but car crash everywhere else. We've not been great all season but this is next level shit. West Brom better than us in every single way. West fucking Brom! Sorry, to be clear, are you saying we should sack all of the eleven players? And the coaches? Or just the players (for a moderate approach)? 4
saintant Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We're losing this in midfield. Two players in there is leaving us out numbered and West Brom know it. If we don't resolve this issue nothing will change in the second half.

I know people on here hate Russell Martin but this is the same but with nothing up front. Pissing round at back passing then lose ball. It very unlikely but only way we will score is via a pen.

Monk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Fuck it, playing this badly we may as well just go gung-ho and go out on our shield. Peretz Stephens - Kevin - Wood Fellows - JWP - Downes - Wellington Azaz Prince - Dobbin Edited 2 hours ago by Monk 1
suewhistle Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Well, only read the last page here but it's all been said. Nobody is having a good game tonight. Downes is getting frustrated which will probably mean a booking. Edozie and Mubama need to be subbed. They haven't been as lazy as some people have suggested but Mubama doesn't keep and Edozie has tracked back a bit but is so lightweight.

That was more the second half, AA missed sitters at 0-0. Let’s hope Tonda gets Muamba off and puts a professional footballer in his place. That’s one of the shittiest 45 minutes I’ve seen in a Saints shirt, even Ali Dia looked better than that v Leeds. How on earth have him, Dozey Drawers, Larios the kid and Bazunu got gigs at City? At least we didn’t get burgled for a full transfer this time but needs putting right for 1 January. 1

saintant Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 6 minutes ago, SNSUN said: I was singing Manning's praises this week to someone, saying how much he's improved. My fault. Hook him! If this was FM I'd be preparing 4 subs, try Ehibationham and bring on Fellows, Welington and Dobbin at half time. It couldn't be much worse. Worst 45 minutes of the season and yet... we are only 1-0 down. Next goal in this game is crucial. He's on his own. Edozie is doing nothing going forward or defensively. 1

But he’s been given a lot of chances this season and stunk the place out every time. So weak on the ball I think l would pick edouzie as the most frustrating saints player ever! the skill to end product ratio is non existent yet we have persevered with him for years.... Have to ask why!!!

Hes the last of our pathetic 22/23 Man City signings and needs to go the same way as the others. Sick of seeing him at our club. He’s even worse than when he first signed Question, How would Sienza look if he played left back …. Manning has been horrendous…

Hawkswood Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 4 minutes ago, trousers said: Well, yes, of course... but that's my point... when a team loses, even really good ones, it's usually because they're having a "bad day at the office"... I'm not going to lose sleep over a one-off sub-par performance when we've got some key players missing and have been playing really well of late. Every team has games like this.... Hull City lost 15 games in the championship last season and are sitting comfortably in mid-table in the premier league right now... I'm sure they had plenty of games like this last season... Much more than we'll probably have I'd venture...As long as it doesn't become a habit then we can draw a line and pragmatically move on. FWIW, I think we'll come away with a draw from this game, which will be a decent outcome in the circumstances. Really agree with this. One of the hardest away games we'll have and loads of good players missing. If we lose its not the end of the world for me, just one of those games ina very long season. 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Quite a bump after our good run, to face a much better team on the night. WBA had enough chances to have been out of sight. 8 shots to our zero, and plenty of attacking opportunities. Mubama made a couple of decent runs. But he's nowhere near Larin and very different to Dobbin. So we can't use him as a target man, and we can't expect him to interchange in the attack. It makes him look like a lump. I've wanted Edozie to push on for years. But that left side, with Manning, has brought out the worst in both. Sam hasn't come close to beating a man; hasn't passed well; has been out muscled, and outpaced. He's tracking back more, to give Manning more options. But neither have been able to attack or defend. Downes has had a real go at both of them. With us having no left side, and a lump up front, the rest has fallen apart. Players trying to compensate are then out of position, overrun, or in Stephens' case put into a position where old, and familiar, errors reappear. Dobin, Fellows, Welington on for starters, removing Manning, Sam and Mubama. Wood can replace Stephens at some point, if he still looks error prone. Bragg for Downes when he gets his yellow. But the first 3 changes right away. 1

Hatch Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago the fact that its only 1-0 and that goal was a pen is a bloody miracle 1
broken spoke Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago don't forget leo supplies alot of ball into the box, and with Azaz, and others we have been able to score. We are missing this tonight....
SNSUN Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Dare I watch the second half... I'm supposed to be working! Positive points: it can't get much worse, we are allowed 5 subs as per the Championship rules of the game, they are only 1 up presently, we have Peretz in goal... any more anyone?
saintant Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago A draw would be massive but I think it'll end up 3-0 to them.
sadoldgit Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Shocking first half. They will be gutted to go in only 1 up. If Tonda gets something out of this he deserves the freedom of the city.
Turkish Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 3 minutes ago, saintant said: He's on his own. Edozie is doing nothing going forward or defensively. Imagine if we’d have got Rasmus dream of Edozie left wing, Larios Left back 🙈😂 3
markr27 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Losing in a tight 1st half is acceptable, losing with such a chasm of quality between the two sides is not. 3

Mboto Gorge Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This is only going one way unless there’s a change in both shape and personnel pretty sharpish.
Dr Who? Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’m not convinced we have solved the away days. We have not been convincing away from SMS this season. At home we are pretty on it!
Turkish Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Fucking bell Edozie and Mumabma coming out for second half 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It feels like one of those games that we've been on the other side of many times over the years. WBA will be going in at HT happy to be in the lead but expecting to have to score more "because they can't possibly that bad for the second half, can they?" 1
