Pompey Takeover Saga

I see poor Harry Redknapp can't travel due Russia for Spuds Europa League game on Tuesday due to 'medical reasons' that are unspecified.

Oh, and how is that court case going?

He looked fit and healthy as a guest on ITV's "That Sunday Show" a few days ago. Scarey how quickly someone's health can go downhill so fast sometimes....

Is mandy looking to bail out already? Why so early? Are you sure about those verdicts corpse?

I haven't been told anything about the verdicts. All I said was that one of the mods on POL said he'd been told Storrie had been found not guilty on all counts. Nothing was said about Mandaric. Don't try and spin this into me having said I'd been told anything about this.

Agree.

But you're still a laughing stock and a ****.

Long but worth a read and with some very intersting stats in there;

Rallyboy keeps telling us the figures, just don't add up........... I think he might be onto something :) :)

PMSL. What a shame you edited it before I could reply. Maybe you should read things properly and notice apostrophes before gloating too hard next time.

Now, what's taking Dubya so long to reply?

Surprise, surprise, the Corpse claims he was just passing on information from another 'source', and not voicing his own opinion!

To be fair, I can't remember if you have EVER stated your own opinion, it's always someone else's opinion that you are just 'passing on'! That way you've always got a little 'get out clause' when it turns out to be not true. Not sure I can see much difference to when Phil passes on the info he has heard, which you take great pleasure in ripping to pieces when it's wrong.

Not been that much proven to be wrong yet though.

Al Fahim was pretty accurate

Posting that neither the Saudi FA, UAE FA nor the Saudi Chamber of Commerce had heard of Al Mirage.

Posting the link to the article that showed Al Mirage was in fact a department Head of Personal Banking.

Pointing out from two named witnesses that a McClaren F1 which bore an uncanny resemblance to one driven by CSI was parked outside a restaurant in Bournemouth, and pointing out that same witness saw Mitchell enter the same restaurant

Posting the links to an article in the Bompey Echo which names their "agent" (No, not whacko cherrypip) who I have evidence in writing (passed to other TSF members for safe keeping) was in discussions about a business plan with a gentleman of long standing & experience in running a football club

Posting the links to the forum that identified the guests of Mr Mitchell who were "shown off" to around 4,000 fans

Posting a specific figure and asking if anybody could find any evidence anywhere on the internet that disproved the information I had cleaned that CSI diverted their sponsorship budget from Renault Williams to the poopey project.

Nobody followed up my point that CSI DID actually sponsor RW last season.

Oh and nobody has refuted that a McClaren F1 may occassionally be seen in the poopey area

The Personal Net Worth of Vlad has been published. The figure is as repeatedly stated CO-INCIDENTALLY (and allowing for weekly exchange rate fluctuations) extremely close to a public finance initiative loan (public domain knowledge) which has (Public Domain Knowledge) links to a director of CSI (Public Domain Knowledge)

the troll believes that it can expect somebody to quote the annual budget variations of a major US Multi-National on a football fans forum. yup, that's why his Social contact is the BogKeeper. He proved himself a true Socialist by explaining how having a budget was not important (especially to owners of what he holds to be reputable Banks) and that said (by his own words) esteemed owners of banks would just tear up all plans and spend money "because they needed to move to the next level" (words to that effect)

Anyone who did ask has received PM's giving more details as to how this information was discovered. For the troll, best explain to your mum that somebody said it is best to store important work data safely away from your computer hard drive because sometimes it may break down and you need to get that information back, and have to give the computer to somebody else to fix.

Gary Glitter could give you advice on why you should take care of secure data storage as well as you don't take my word. Sam Kiley is also doing some good stuff on Sky news about it at the moment

Corp - come on you skate git, stop dancing around the real issues.

What we want to know is whether or not you've got any inside gossip on the buring topic on everyone's lips at Fratton, the issue that keeps Limpdick awake at night, the thing that gets the Pompey internet warriors on edge, the one issue that once resolved holds the key to Pompey finally competing this season - what I mean is: any news on the more economical toilets to be installed in the North stand? What says your high-up at Pompey source that you see socially every few weeks?

For anyone that wants a laugh:

Well I'm not a rocket scientist skummer, but could it have possibly something to do with skum being top at the moment???

Oh, and have you reopened that entire stand that was closed while you were busy getting relegated because you couldn't fill it?

And, as far as I'm aware, we've never resorted to accepting free away travel to London (Charlton I think it was) in a desperate bid to get more than 20 people to turn up.

And then there's that Bolton premier league away fixture that was mentioned for years on here. What was it that skum brought to that again? Something like 250??

I don't remember us closing an entire stand when we were getting relegated....

Would be a strange choice for Coppell. He's walked away from better jobs than that. I suppose at least he wouldn't have to move house. But he's not one for underhand dealing and he is too intelligent to be taken in for long by prevarication.

Mind you, he is a bit confused according to Wikipedia------ on 11 August 2010 after only four months in charge, Coppell resigned as Bristol City manager, saying that he would retire from football management altogether citing a lack of passion for the job. However, on 9 September 2011 he admitted that he was interested to become the next manager of Iceland.

I hate to back the Ho up but at the time I pointed out that he was only saying what a POL Mod had posted and made no comment to say he believed it or not. Dont think he actually said anything else on the matter after that either.

I also said something about it being written in a way that would get him out of the poo should it turn out to be a load of balls.

All in all, its still worth taking anything the Ho says with a grain of salt as its either not his words or random sleep talk ramblings that belong in a star trek novel.

my understanding is that one of Hayling's most famous financial experts did indeed recently have cause to hold a celebratory party regarding his good fortune with a problem.

Sometimes good fortune can be linked to a transfer from dock to witness stand, but realistically I guess the whole botched affair is fizzling out in a blur of freemasonry and legal failings.

A pity really because even the very few deserve answers and you get the impression now that there will never be any conclusions or detail released about the last few years of blatant criminality.

That said, why do we still have to put up with pub myths coming from the east?

Stands being shut, 13,000 free tickets at SMS, free for the unemployed, free kids, I'm not sure any of our supporters are actually paying - no wonder we can't afford to own the ground and are heading towards administration again buried under massive debts because our owners have given up and have been trying to sell for over a year....:?

Dock strike, tank commander? - makes me chuckle that so many of the deluded are dim enough to believe everything they are told by toothless, pothead, sister-botherering, lucky heather vendors.

Then again Lampitt has relied upon this slowness of thought to spin his way to their current glorious position without anyone demanding his immediate resignation.

not really. with coppell there's a far better chance of him quickly going mental and resigning than there is achieving anything.

I disagree. In the position they are in where any alternative manager will just be surviving every year, it is a risk worth taking a potentially a great bit of business.

Surely if it is on a forum, the poster is telling all readers & trolls of that forum the information. As such you have been told by this poster the information you chose to believe and quickly posted, (probably wetting yourself at the thought of posting this on this thread), but with the get-out clause "wasn't my fault you honour I was told but someone who was told by someone else" just in case your information was misinformation........ in fact I don't know why I'm even bothering in wasting my keyboard because you will probably come back with some inane pedantic point of view and that will then mean that I am conversing in communication with you and my life will be a worse for it

Well Dubya, the question was "Yes or No". Seems that was too difficult for you. I've amended your sprawling, deperate attempt at face saving post below and added in just a couple of really very straightforward questions. Could you please just give a straight answer to them.

Oh and nobody has refuted that a McClaren F1 may occassionally be seen in the poopey area

1. An F1? Are you sure? Antonov's been pictured in Pompey driving a Spyker and Dubov drives an Audi A8.

2. Antonov's wealth is estimated at $300mm (£187mm) by all these websites

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Antonov

http://articles.businessinsider.com/2011-08-03/lifestyle/29989325_1_saab-vladimir-antonov-russian-tycoons

http://www.sports.ru/en/football/96192331.html

The EIB loan to SAAB that you talk about was for £350mm

http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/247406/

Admit it Dubya, you got your £'s and $'s mixed up. The more you deny it when it's there, as you say, in the public domain makes you look a complete cockle

3. Now, on to you bizarre part about asking you to "quote the annual budget variations of a major US Multi-National on a football fans forum". Where exactly have I asked you to do this? What I asked was whether it was possible for a budget set one year to be different the following year. No specific amounts, no requests for you to share confidential information, just whether a budget can go up and down from year to year. I keep asking this simple question because you refuse to answer it. The point being that you keep quoting a budget of £8mm for CSI and PFC because that's what they allocated last year. But, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE BUDGET COULD HAVE POSSIBLY CHANGED FROM THAT VALUE THIS YEAR. Yes or no? I've not said CSI would tear up any plans and spend loads of cash to get to the "next level". Unless you can provide a quote to prove otherwise.

Come on Dubya, simple question, yes or no answer. Can a budget that's set one year change the following year?

As for the rest of your post, I didn't know they had peyote cactus' in Dubai

Well Dubya, if nothing else your response proves one thing - that you bleating on about having me on your ignore list was a load of ******. Given how often you refer to me in your posts I suspected you were lying but thanks for confirming it.

What do you say Dubya, any answers?

Phil, you're being accused of not have Corp on ignore!

It couldn't possibly have been that you were quoted twice in full for your post could it Corp? You can see quoted content from ignored posters, but I wouldn't expect to to be bright enough to notice. Has nobody ever told you that when you're in a hole it's best to stop digging.

But thanks for the entertainment anyway.

On a completely unrelated note, I read the Storrieteller had turned queens evidence - which might have been beneficial to him... mind you, he blatantly lied to the courts during the winding up proceedings on numerous occasions, so who knows.

A genuine shame for football if they wriggle out of all this, as the game will continue to embrace corruption in the way pompey have (and continue to do so)...

If Rallyboy and Ho's info is correct then yet again british justice has yet again been shown for the nonsense it is. Hypothetically how about turning the Queens evidence and then making such a poor time of it in the box, contradicting your own evidence and so ruining any prosecution, and so torpedoing any case..Would it be possible to do so?

Vlad involved in more murky ownership issues/non-issues.

http://english.blic.rs/Economy/8139/Russian-businessmen-to-buy-JAT

''Russian businessmen to buy JAT

Russian businessmen and bankers, owners of part of ‘Air Baltic’ shares are interested in strategic partnership with the national carrier ‘JAT Airways’. This is actually an investment group registered at the Bahamas the owners of which want to transfer their money from ‘Air Baltic’ into the ‘JAT’. As we learn they want to leave the company from Estonia because of interfering of the state in the company’s work by appointment of political staff to executive posts.

At extended tender for search of strategic partner for the ‘JAT Airways’ only ‘Baltic Aviation Systems’ (BAS), the minor co-owner of the ‘Air Baltic’ purchased the tender documentation. As said by representatives of the Serbian Ministry for Infrastructure, further negotiations shall be carried out with the BAS.

The major owner of ‘Air Baltic’ is the state with 52.6 percent stake while the minor owner the BAS owns 47.2 percent of shares.

Half of the shares in the BAS belongs to Bertolt Flick (German national), former director of the ‘Air Baltic’ who was a hundred percent owner earlier. Since he fell into financial difficulties he sold one half and now owns fifty percent only. The other half belongs to the ‘Taurus Asset Management’.

It is not clear even to the authorities in Estonia who behind that fund is. They recently requested detailed explanation about the ownership. Media in Estonia mention names of two Russian businessmen Andrei Rudesko and Stanislav Kovtun. Estonian officials do not believe that these are the real and only owners.

The third Russian name being related to the ‘Air Baltic’ is Vladimir Antonov a millionaire from London. His company announced several months ago to have

purchased 11-12 percent of shares in the ‘Air Baltic’. However, it was not specified whether the purchased shares belonged to the state stake or to that of the BUS.''

Tomorrow in Court 8 at Southwark Crown Court

Surely not? Poor Harry is in hospital, following his open wallet..sorry, open heart surgery.

What an unfortunate coincidence that he has had to go into hospital to have stents put in his arteries at the same time he is due to appear in court.

Doubt he will be there as "For Mention" according to yahoo answers means

"Cases listed for mention in court are usually to fix a date for trial or agree outstanding issues. They can sometimes lead to a change of plea."

So unless he is changing his plea to guilty then its just about firming up details about the real trial.

I love the line " A lot of the fans had noticed that the clock had stopped working "

That'll be the ones that can tell the time then ????

:)

Not quite. What actually happened was that, many years ago, some of the brighter (a relative term here, of course) ones among the P*mpey faithful noticed that the hands of the clock magically moved - they knew not why, but they noted the differing positions at the start and end of matches. Naturally enough, this phenomenon caused the clock to become a talismanic idol to the blue-clad faithful huddled together on the terraces; as the years passed, they began to worship it as a deity, even using the sound of its hourly striking as a hymn. As a special act of reverence, their high priest carries a bell to every match and rings it incessantly.

Now, though, there is consternation, as the faithful have witnessed the apparent demise of their god. Many, it seems, have deserted their faith for good, preferring to prostrate themselves in front of the vast liners heading out past their island; others await the clock's resurrection, certain that when it happens they will return in their droves to Nottarf, and their high priest will lead them in the glorious journey to their ultimate destination, a place of legend known to the faithful as Blue Square South.
