I wasn't debating you.

I see United have taken the lead against "so good" Brighton. Do you think you can sleep easy tonight now, petal?

Why are you being such a monotonous aggressive prick in every thread?

I don’t think you can even remember which forum members were worried about relegation yet you continue with this tedious crap in every thread.

I thought you were an Arsenal fan anyway, shouldn’t you be on your own forum?

Thank you Ottowa. I think it may be a neurosis

Could do with Brighton not being so bloody good

I am just annoyed that after yesterday they have overtaken us in the race for the "most points dropped from winning positions" title. (19 v 18). Fulham (16) and Spurs (15) are also catching us fast. At this rate we will struggle to finish in a Champions League place.

Engage in any form of team sport (I highly doubt you ever have in your time), see someone with those traits and then come back and tell me it’s not an educated guess.

Also, listen to TSP, Dan sheldon of the athletic said similar, so I guess he has no idea either.

🤣

I see the resident nob heads are at it again...

So anyone out there excited about the semi final? I am, few beers with my brother and old man. Yes Leicester are favourites but stranger things have happened.

This. I'm going for a gutsy famous win that will be remembered for years.  But I'm not prepared to risk $10 on it regrettably.

Like everybody else on here, I don't want to see a gutless performance. Trying your best and still just not being good enough is hard but acceptable

Stick $10 on a Leicester win for an insurance bet pal. That momentum curve is with Leicester now so a win for them looks like safe money.

NFW. Agree with the post but I've followed SFC for decades. But I'm not betting on them.

That’s interesting because when you first started posting on here you played the part of a new poster who didn’t really know much about football as you’re new to the game. If you’re going to invent new characters you need to remember the back story pal

FFS. Haven't you got anything better to say?  Mate, just accept I'm from New Zealand, never been to Kenya, last played a round of golf years' ago and never been on this site until I joined last year. Also, it's only "interesting" to you.

I must be losing my mind. The amount of people on this forum who remember everything is quite impressive. I realise there is the search facility but some of you lot should work for MI6... or maybe you do??

The real skill is working out who returns under different names. Few have worked out that CB Fry and Jeremy are indeed the same person. Compare the posting styles and it becomes obvious

C’mon then, name and shame, I enjoy the gossip more than agonising about our poor team these days.

But you have no idea, just because i called you out on the rubbish you spout you are angry and can't handle it.

You are wrong, get over it and move on 🥱

Angry? I’m absolutely fine my false identity friend.

The sun is shining, beers are calling and it’s a day closer to watching us at Wembley and either being really happy with a win or being able to say ‘I told you so’.

It’s a win, win for me. The future is bright.

How is that relevant to what I said? The equivalent would be Wilder taking a newly promoted team to 2nd and 6th in the Premier League... which he did not do. He didn't even get remotely close to that!

Getting Sheffield United to 9th in the PL is a far larger achievement than what Ralph did with Leipzig. You can add Dyce to the list for the job he’s done at Burnley as well and Bielsa with Leeds.

Arguably Howe with Bournemouth as well.

Regardless of Leipzig's money, getting a newly promoted team to 2nd in the Bundesliga and into the Champions League, above the likes of Dortmund is a very good achievement. Dortmund had a bigger budget than Hasenhuttl's Leipzig.

But it’s not though, is it. Their infrastructure, scouting network and playing squad is and was one of the top in the German league.

I don’t know how Dortmund played that season but budget doesn’t always mean success. Look at Arsenal and Tottenham this season for example.

I’d say he done an decent job there but nothing spectacular enough, when combined with the job he’s done here, to warrant a top elite job.

So I repeat, he’s only being linked because of his playing style. That is a hipster / trendy choice.

They were a newly promoted team and finished 2nd. Their budget was not one vastly bigger than the teams they finished above, nor did they make huge changes during the summer. He deserves credit for moulding what was the year before a 2nd tier team into one capable of finishing 2nd in the top flight. That isn't an easy task or one to knock and compare to Chris Wilder or Sean Dyche.

Yes. It was also a team that included players such as; Sabitzer, Keita, Poulsen, Forsburg, Upamecano, Werner

It was effectively like us getting promoted into the championship with a top 10 PL team and coming second ahead of big names ole West Ham, at the time.

Decent enough job, but a very good team.

I don’t know where you got that they didn’t make many changes, they signed Keita and Upamecano from the Austrian champions (another RB team) and Werner from Stuttgart.

No other newly promoted teams have the infrastructure in place to utilise a scouting network like that. It’s a unique scenario.

im not really but when it's a reoccurring topic on this forum and you've even started a thread about it makes me wonder if there is anything in it. It seems to get under your skin for some reason. No one cares if you used to post as always or not.

Fixed it for you. You seem bright enough to be able to work out that repeating the same opinion over and over again diminishes the impact of said opinion. Maybe try using that intellect to your advantage?
