I don’t think there’s anything wrong with starting the game again but one of the players was sent off, therefore I think that should be rescinded - and apparently that stands.

Make that make sense?

That is where the EFL lose some credibility.

Must be some sort of record there.

When you consider two of them were late, late winners two that is pathetic

It's horrific. Still, I am hopeful we'll overturn Middlesbrough on Sat if we are the same shape and intensity as against Liverpool.

Sadly I've come to learn we won't be. It'll be slow, crap and a 0-3 score.

Blackburn vs Ipswich to be replayed in full.

Bizarre decision….

Literally the only sensible decision.

Great goal. I'm pleased for the lad.  His confidence was shot to pieces, and that'll do him the world of good.

To be honest it's a relief he can't play against us next week , James Bree also getting a goal today

Some big relegation 6 pointers next few days

A loss and a place in the relegation zone might end his reign.

I like to judge things on merit , as shown in the image we currently reside 2 points above the drop zone and rightly so on form.

Once the lads find a way to win football matches and move away from the relegation zone we won't have to mention it

If we're there 2/3 of the way through the season, you'd have a point. At this stage it's just daft trolling.

Why's he playing central and not hugging the touchline out wide on the left?

Weak league this season. If we can’t finish top 6 in this then I simply give up. Not sure I want us to but there’s another thread for that kinda chat.

I don't think it's that weak, just a number of teams focused on getting the basics right and not over complicating it, doing well because of that. Putting together decent hard working sides on a budget putting to shame clubs like us and Sheffield Utd in receipt of parachute payments and making a complete mess of it.

Nobody has really stood out yet. Not sure how Boro are at the top to be honest. They aren't anything special. If we had a decent forward we would have won easily.

we've lost to Stoke and were mauled by the tigers, we've failed to beat the Skates or Watford , in the here and now we are where we deserve to be and it's up to Still and the players to show us they can turn it around

I'd say Coventry are the best I've seen so far, attack with real intent and are scoring for fun

Yep, we've done badly and are well below where this squad should be, but talk of relegation 6 pointers at this stage of the season is ridiculous.

Decent mauled by the tigers line though.

Wonder who this is?

Norwich, even Saints?

Source credited as reluctantnicko, so perhaps a pinch of salt called for.

Irrespective of who it might be, seems a bit counter productive to say players - who’ve had a poor start to the season- fear results might get worse. Simple response from the Chairman/DoF is “well it’s down to you fuckers to see that they don’t’, now get on with it…”

Blackburn perhaps? Finished 7th last year and currently sat in 20th on 6 points. Only appointed their manager in February, so a change may be seen as premature. Could be Derby alternatively - appointed Eustace in February and despite escaping relegation haven't kicked on yet this season.

Even if it was Saints, I wouldn’t trust the opinion of an average footballer like captain Jack.

I hope it isn't. Especially given the last two games where I think we've seen progression in terms of what Still wants to do.

I do think we need to avoid changing managers every 5 minutes. It often doesn't end well.

Obviously won't be us will it ffs. Still gave stephens a new 3 year contract, he's probably his favourite person right now.

Still didn't do anything with Stephens, other than pick him

This won't end well

Their wage bill has been dramatically slashed as well… I bet the rent is paid on time to the Chansiri’s company that owns the ground.

Those players have shown tremendous character. Paid late, no pre season, tiny first team squad, they are putting in big performances and playing well

Hopefully they'll lose heart by the time we play them

Eight games last night, six draws. Statistical quirk or an indicator that the league is pretty even (pretty meh)?

No suprise to see Coventry up there and Mark Robins too. Birmingham not finding it quite as easy as some said they would. Slow start for us and Ipswich, not sure Swansea or Charlton will be up there for long.

All to play for, at this stage I think we won't win enough home games and we will finish 6-7-8.

Its wide open, so our slow start hasnt really cost us.

Fixture run in Oct & Nov shows nothing to be scared of so fully expect us to be in the top 4 by end of Nov and hopefully top 2.

Lower than that and its very poor considering our squad.

Coventry looking like the stand out side who are going to run away with the Championship. Beat Millwall 4-0 away tonight and have now scored 22 goals in 8 games. They look very good and have a strong squad.

They definitely look like the team to beat so far. Although Boro are currently top I don't think they will be there for too long.
