To be honest putting five at the back in a match that has little real significance just smacks of a club hierarchy that has completely lost its way and a number of players that are continuing to somehow steal a living. There’s very little regard for the supporters that have spent a lot of money to be entertained. I’m really starting to lose a lot of respect and interest given these spineless decisions.

They are just playing out the rest of the season in the hope the five at the back keep the goals out and we scrape a 1-0 win or 1-1 draw to get past this 11 point thing.

To play five at the back against a team that haven’t scored at home in 9 league matches however is, to be generous, overly cautious.

Manning will be targeted like he was last week when Fulham brought Traore on.  Still, Rusk’s idea of putting Dibling on to shore that side up was fucking genius!

The problem is, playing 5 at the back doesn’t work because it’s the subs late in the game that screw us over. Far better I would argue to keep a CB on the bench and revert to 5 at the back at 70-80 minutes to (hopefully) protect a lead.

Do we know why Lallana hasn't been in the match day squad since becoming player-coach...?

Appreciate he's nowhere near as good as he used to be but surely he's no worse than most of the rest of the squad?

Clueless cunts , and that's the problem with 3atb, thick as fuck cbs not knowing where to be and a free strike with nobody within 3yds, play 2 cbs ffs
