You know what? Fuck this.  I've got shit to do. Waste of my time watching this useless team.

Just checking back in now to see we lost. Looks like I made a great decision to enjoy the fresh air, warm sun, and nature.

Perhaps one day, everyone else who laughed will believe you. But don't count on it. Here's Patrick's primer for you, in case you get confused again.

No, you're wrong on this.

Strategy: We want to get to 'A', to get to 'A' we will play this style. To play this style, we need a manager with xyz credentials and skills. Recruiter, go find me that manager.

Recruiter: Finds shortlist with skills to match the strategy call and assists with interviews and final recommendations.

Or perhaps you'll go down your other rabbit hole that evening, where all the problems in the universe are down to recruitment. 🙂

Which players do you think are League 1 or below level? I don't think any of the first team are, bar perhaps Lumley. Very few of them are PL level (KWP, Ramsdale, Dibling,  Fernandes), most of the others are top half Championship level players. Certainly not League 1 or lower.

Dibling, Premier League level - do me a favour.

I do have certain emotions this season that I've not associated with this club before, definitely. Even when we went into admin and were being relegated from the Champ, I still felt some pride and hope and I enjoyed supporting this club.

There's nothing enjoyable about it anymore. I pretty much hate the entire first team squad. The club is the laughing stock of the country, they've humiliated the fan base and the city and it will never be lived down.

I've never felt so disconnected from the club as I do today. I don't know what the future holds and quite frankly I'm quite apprehensive about what that may be.

This whole collapse  of this club reminds me of the way the mafia operated in the sopranos....

Is our owner a Mafia boss?

Just home from a cracking day out!! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd see a Saints team play SO SHIT, but no matter, it was a good laugh being with other Saints fans on the lash! Well done boys! Also got chatting to some really friendly and funny Leicester fans. Let's do it all again next season!

Glad the football didn’t ruin a good day out 👍

Agreed. A handful of decent games isn't enough to cement yourself as a premier league level player. Dibling certainly has potential but currently only KWP, Ramsdale and Fernandes have proven themselves at this level.

Do you think he'll leave in the summer?

How much do you think he is worth?

On what I've seen of him this season I'd say he's worth 20 million tops and would be surprised if any club is prepared to pay even that. I have supported this club for over 50 years and learned that the real quality players are easy to spot and stand out from the first minute they set out on the pitch for the first team and progress quickly. Dibling doesn't give me any vibes or excitement. Maybe he'll improve but I just don't see the superstar quality of the likes of Williams, Moran, Shearer, Bale, the Wallaces, Le Tiss and others - I don't see the promise of star quality but would love him to prove me wrong.

He absolutely has star quality. He isn't helped by being in an awful team. His confidence has looked shot recently because his teammates are out of their depth.

£20m is a ridiculously low price for him. As I think you will see in the summer.

He needs to stay with us and have a season in the Championship to develop his game (under the right manager) At the start of the season, he was so much more positive, running at players, taking them on, that's all gone now. He looks shot to bits.

Let's see.

How do you define star quality? Is it his inability to break into the 2nd shittest PL team ever? Or perhaps his demonstrable inability to play in anything other than a russball system? Maybe it's his lovely floppy hair?

Whilst I agree, I don't trust SR to do anything but cash in on anyone with any value this summer.

They were 2-0 down at our place and came back to win 3-2. Shame there's no chance of us doing the same.

Having learnt from this lesson, it is reasonable that they don’t try to score this time.

NEVER have I doubted why I bother before, supporting saints has always been through thick or thin for me. Season ticket in the champ season and league one etc.

But today I am genuinely embarrassed to be associated with this pathetic shower of shit.

Fucking useless, embarrassing, pathetic cunts.

The club does NOT deserve the fantastic fan base it has.

This is what we call… The Sports Republic effect!

Laughable. These last 3 games were the big chance to get past 11 points, but as usual we showed zero fight or urgency, or belief, bravery, you name it. Just meek acceptance of defeat as per usual this season. It’s a bloody insult to the fans who travel every week to be served up utter shite like that against a side who’ve lost their last 9 home games without scoring. Clearly ending on 11 points is absolutely fine for this lot, judging by the way they played today.

This guy goes into games hoping for a 0-0 draw, with the worst defence in the league, so parks 5 players at the back , tells them to keep their shape and not venture forward too much, and hopes for the best. An absolutely pathetic shambolic club right now. The only question remaining is how heavily we will lose these final 3 games, bearing in mind we have City, everton and arsenal remaining.

If someone told me there was a secret collaboration between a lot of these players, and even some coaching staff, that they were deliberately sabotaging games as they don't really want to be here, I wouldn't be calling them loonies. We were shit under RM but some have clearly thrown their toys since their mate got the boot.

We've done a great job in diminishing Dibbling's value the second half of the season by adopting weird systems and styles, playing him out of position and benching him.

A positive of this would be that we don't sell him.

In typical Sports Republic genius-style, the actual outcome will probably be that we sell him for way less than we should.

I managed to avoid listening or watching the game. Just kept an eye on the score and got on with other things.

Absolutely no surprise at the result. Leicester are better than Saints. They were last season, and clearly this season as well. Saints have been turned over at the KPS too often for this to come as any surprise.

The game was important to them, they had their own unwanted record to avoid and no way did they want Saints to overtake them.

The Saints team are totally broken, most know they have zero future here. With a few exceptions they have lost the trust of the fan base.

I've enjoyed watching Saints for nearly 60 years but I just want this miserable season to end. I need to rediscover some love for this club.

It is the actions of people who are no longer making those decisions. No one is responsible for the actions of those that came before them in any field of work.

I am now beginning to see why people get annoyed with you. Sports Republic......you know....the people who own our club....do not have a good record of recruitment. In fact, they have an incredibly bad record of recruitment. It is not difficult to understand, that based on this, it is easy to understand peoples lack of confindence in their ability to make good appointments in the future. I think that we all hope that they get it right this time, but even you must understand why people are dubious?

Grandson: Would you keep it down? I'm trying to check the scores.
John Boy: Wheeeee! Look at my glider! Can we have ice cream?!

The grim alternative of watching Southampton, makes doing anything else that bit sweeter. 🙂

The question would be, "do you trust SR based on their previous record?"

Well they had one season in the championship with the agenda of getting promoted, and they did it ...just. same again next season and no one here will complain.

I accidently saw Saints on Motd ! Vardy stepped back in our box and waited for the cross and gleefully banged it in for the first , no one was near him . Sums up our defence all season.

And Stephens just stood there and watched him.

I watched MOTD last night .

The first goal summed up our hapless defence.

THB was easily beaten out on the right flank.

Bedders and Stephens decide to mark thin air and Vardy strolls through in-between them to finish in style...easy peasey.. pathetic really, he's old and past it.

Have a look on "Settings" Beside the parental control option, there should be one that prevents adults seeing things of a traumatic nature. That removes all mention of us, never mind any clips. 🙂

I have just listened to the Adam and Jo Post match review/autopsy.

It started with an interview with THB who said Leicester caused them problems by overloading one side of the pitch, just as Fulham had done the previous week (Iwobi, Sessegnon). THB then said that they didn't know how to handle this.

I find this staggering (although I should know better by now):

1) why didn't the coaching team analyse the overloading strategy with the players, after the Fulham match, and come up with a solution.
2) Jo Tessem pointed out that with 3 CBs at the back, they should all have shuffled across ... an obvious solution you would think but not one that occurred to our team.
3) Finally,as they didn't shuffle across, why didn't one of the three CBs pick up Vardy?

No wonder this team is going down, in a horrific fashion.

Even our placid away fans are turning rapidly. If we aren’t looking a lot more energetic and competitive in the first few games next season and top 6, watch out SR. Fernandes wasn’t well apparently but bringing on Smallbone to give some energy 😂🤣😆
