How do we think this game is going to finish?

Why do we just sit back and invite them to play everytime we take the lead we need to push on instead of taking our foot off the gas every time! It's like we think one nil is going to be enough it never is! Such a weak mentality

HT. Had our moments but as usual, crap players switching off and handing them opportunities. Very midtable affair, one which we will probably lose because we won't deal with their crosses.

Completely different team, a much better team. KWP, Adams, Stewart Armstrong, Janny B…

And yet Edozie, Aribo, Downes, THB and Smallbone can’t get into this team.

Absolute joke. The officiating is so poor

We just can’t put any team to the sword. They look shit at back we should be able to dominate. No faith in Still at HT

True but does standing shouting at the official instead defending change the decision, Manning is an idiot

Said last week how shite Manning is in defence.  Never gets near the winger.  Replace him at half time.

Adam Armstrong is totally ineffective down the middle.  I would stick Archer there, put Armstrong back wider and go 4 at the back.

No team is getting promoted with Bazunu failing to save anything and Manning failing to stop any crosses. Russell Martin realised that eventually, Still has realised 50% of it. Obvious to all of us

No point dwelling on that. He got it wrong, but was never going to change his mind. If Manning was actually doing his fucking job rather than pointlessly arguing with the lino, we'd still be in the lead. It's not the first time he's just switched off today either. Just utterly brainless from him again. Stupid prick.

Yeah Manning has to do better defensively. Getting tighter out wide.

We’re looking good and Derby are on a lot of yellows, so it’s there for taking.

Manning is an absolute nightmare liability at RB…has no idea how to defend…at least three times just caught in no man’s land, not closing down and watching the game pass him by. Then he argues with the Lino and gifts Derby a good cross leading to the goal. Get the idiot off.

We're back to playing a lot of walking football then despite the fact that Saints easily break Derby's lines when the pace is picked up and we start running at them.

Scienza impressive, can't believe Stewart really is made of glass, but should have rested him, and Manning you twat. Fucking amateur hour, arguing with the ref instead of defending.

Our passing has been pretty good. Derby have nothing other than getting it in the mixer but we give them so much space down their right to get crosses in.

Scienza and Manning isn't doing the job defensively, although they look good going forwards.

I'd be tempted to take Edwards off for Jelert and switch to:

Macca

Jelert--Wood--Quarshie--Manning

---Charles, Jander (Downes later)--

Fellows---Scienza---Fraser

---------Armstrong -----------

Fraser should help Manning, if Manning can't be arsed to get tight.

We've shown weve got plenty of talent up top and if we don't get the 3 points this will be a terrible result.

VAR isn't the answer. Holding referees to account for poor officiating and actually doing something about it is.

As far as I'm aware, VAR wouldn't intervene for a misjudged throw-in decision, so moot point...

I honestly have no idea what Still is trying to do or achieve.  Stewart goes off and we swtich Armstrong to the main striker (that we all know is not his position) and bring on a winger to put in crosses to a bunch of midgets.

Why play 5 at the back - we look shite whether we play 4, 5, 6 or 10 at the back.

Disappointing that Stewart has yet another injury as him and Armstrong were looking quite dangerous.

Baffled why Robinson didn't even make the bench.

I just think Still is in massively over his head.

We will deal with their crosses better if Jelert replaces Manning who just doesn’t get anywhere near enough to their right side attackers.

Just seeing Armstrongs goal again, we'd all be fuming if we'd conceded that. Four defenders round him and none make a tackle.

Whats the betting a few are on our 'shortlist'. Would fit right in here.

It was working well so we then put him in the centre where he's ineffective.

Fellows has been good since coming on and like Scienza. Hoping they'll create a few opportunities second half. And Mac in goal has been terrific.

Mixed. We had a really good first seven minutes. Should have scored before the goal through Manning, we were running rings around them with our passing and movement, and then we scored and it's been poor ever since. Wish we would just put teams to the sword like Coventry are doing every week, rather than taking the foot off the gas and slowing the game down with a one goal lead.

Sheffield United are in a false position, they have some good players there still who have just been mismanaged. Derby are not. 20th and as poor as they showed in the first 7 minutes. But, we've allowed them to be competitive.

On a positive, Scienza's YouTube videos impressed me on his initial link here and he's looked decent today, has the ability to produce something from nothing, which not many of our current players have in their locker.

Azaz on for Edwards is the obvious attacking move for me. See if he can feed Armstrong through as Armstrong and Stewart were looking good up there.

Maybe have the same system they use in rugby. That would have gone back and judged that decision.

"We all hate Manning!"  You mean that guy who's scored one sixth of our goals this season?   I'm sick that Stewart is injured. Looked like hamstring... 2 months out? Just as it looked like we'd found our striker.

Yep Derby just need to get that red and they'll be in the driving seat. We're worse vs 10 than 11.

This is what I can't understand. We started really well, attacked at pace and scored a good goal, and then just sat back and invited them onto us. All very well trying to protect a lead, but not with 85 minutes still to play FFS.

Now that Stewart has gone off, I just can't work out who's supposed to be playing where. There's no obvious shape, especially on the right where we've got Edwards sometimes at RCB and sometimes at RB, Wee man playing a sort of wing back role but not, and Fellows seemingly not knowing whether he's supposed to be playing as a winger or a striker.

How the fuck are we still this shit?

All you hear from WS is "We keep going" and "We're getting there".

Are we? Really? From.where I'm.sitting we seem to have paid a lot for players like Fellows and Azaz and told them to stop doing what they're good at.

Standing by what I said midweek. We're going nowhere with WS in charge.

Shit officiating, but Manning should have stayed focused on the ball and not arguing with the official.

Generally though, once again after scoring we've been too passive. Just allowing Derby all the time in the world to pick out a cross.

Look more cohesive going forwards today, albeit not as much as when Stewart was on. Just a shame that Downs, who probably would have come on if he had shown any quality, just doesn't look up to it and Still clearly knows it now.
