until we get to Doris the tea lady who it turns out is a rockstar at Football Manager.

Which effectively puts us back at the start of the season with Still. An incredible self sustaining cycle we’ve developed.

I don’t think the new manager will be tondor because if it is for any reason the fans will protest and riot that’s why I can’t see if take ogs and carrick and spors did tell that Southampton FC Fan advisory board that tondor was only in the interm role I’m with the club losing as many as six staff members the new manager will have to bring in his own staff anyway

Please don't take this the wrong way because I absolutely mean it in jest, but reading this caused me a mixture of physical pain and mental anguish. I don't know what crimes full stops and commas have committed against you in life, but i hope you find a way to forgive them - for all our sakes 😘

Has Paul Trollope left for Wolves already? Seems a real shortage of staff on the training ground ? Are we making the most of this two week break?

Clearly not

Don't be absurd. Doris the tea lady is our new goalkeeper.

I hear she’s humble and brave, which is at least as important as any other attributes, so I’m sure she’ll be fine

I vote for Doris the tea lady!. Perhaps she can give the squad some tips on positional guidance, otherwise known as PG Tips.

She should be good in cup competitions, obviously she's no mug.

The silence is deafening.
An international break goes by.
we are rudderless.
the club owes it to the supporters to at least give some direction to what they are thinking and the reasoning for it.

Surely the position is that we have an interim manager whilst they are looking to fill the position and they will let us know when that changes? Maybe they should copy the Vatican and put up smoke signals every day?

Just look out for the white smoke! 😉

Alex Crook just said on Talksport that if flippin' Eck wins the next two, don't be surprised if he gets the job. Simon Jordan said 'That will please the natives' in his sarcastic, orangey way.

Just passing this on.

How depressing. Our club is being run by idiots.

I've been wondering if we are hanging on for any  International manager reignations as and when their teams don't qualify for the World Cup but there's nobody jumping out of that list that look likely to be a fit. Having said that I'd take Liechtenstein's Konrad Fünfstück just to see how often he gets his name spelt wrong on here.

If no decision is made by Saturday its quite ironic that the little Welsh genius coach could decide what happens here. If they stuff us then its gonna be hard to give Tonda the job, if we win then it strengthes his case even more !

So if we get 12 points from 12, after beating teams in 9th and 12th, it would be an idiotic decision to stick with the interim manager who guided the team to those results?

You need to address that question to Spors. He's already declared that they don't intend sticking with the interim fella.

Alex Crook is excellent at stating the bloody obvious.

He strikes me as the kind of person that posted on football rumours websites as a teenager. He’s just a bit of a chancer.

There’s loads across social media now, unfortunately there’s a lot of idiots on there too that lap it up.

I'm warming to the idea of Ralph coming in til the end of the season with Tonda as his assistant. The club obviously didnt have anyone in mind or the decision would have been made by now.

If a new manager was appointed who had previously worked with Tonda in some capacity, do we think Tonda would then stay in the first team set-up or return to the U-21s? I assume he would go back to the U-21s in any other scenario (other than getting the job himself, of course!).

I am literally in the Charlton end this Saturday. Seems like I'll be in the right place.

Same here. A mate is a fan. Always hard sitting on one's hands but not expecting us to light the place up

There isn't any other manager in the championship  who has won 4 consecutive league games so this  would be impressive and certainly a  stand out start

Hard to argue that four wins on the spin would not be impressive if he gets them but it’s a big IF. He deserves some credit for the two wins he has picked up but the context does matter - the QPR game was a lucky win in my book and beating Sheffield Wednesday in their current state is par at best.

He has had a bit of time with a decent chunk of the squad over the international break so seeing how we look against Charlton will be interesting either way and a reasonable yard stick for him. They are a well organised side and have bought into Jones’ philosophy - even if he still is a massive bellend!

I’m not convinced Tonda is the answer and can see why he is being seen as the ‘clever dick/spreadsheet wanker’ type of appointment but if he gets results then fair enough. The other names linked aren’t exactly awe inspiring. There are a few I would feel much more confident than Tonda but most have their flaws.

Yes there is, Derby have just won 5 in a row with a proper manager (for this league) would gladly swap with them
