His record is good, the issue was how long it took him to admit his system had been found out and to go to 4 at the back. 
He’s also been badly let down by recruitment, Bree clearly our best right back yet we turf him out and fail twice to find anyone better. Also I noted how much fitter and stronger he looked at 90m compared to the rest of them. Whilst it is great we suffer from less injuries, I think he’s listening too much to the analysts. Not much good having uninjured players if they are bullied for last 30m every game - also didn’t we have a massive squad ? Surely this year should have been the one we could risk injuries a bit more..

At least after 4 years looks like they have finally sorted the gk position (still not sorted cf though).

in all seriousness, whilst top 6 looks beyond us, if Tonda keeps improving - is willing to make the right changes (quicker), should we give him another season ? - we’ve invested in him learning this….

What a stupid, dumb comment.  As a respected poster posted on the UI stated he is now officially our best manager (stats wise) after the games he has been in charge (9 wins and 4 draws, 5 defeats).  Unlike the reactionary mob on here, anyone can see he is going to be a top class manager.

It could also be something to do with having better full backs with the return of Bree and the return of Welington from injury

Not quite (Adkins and Pardew have higher win percentages) but agree his stats are starting to look pretty good now, thanks to the uptick in form over the last week 👍🏻

Someone mentioned it was Tonda’s birthday today. So it’s a happy birthday for him with three points in the bag. Well done Tonda, enjoy your day.

Now having read about the lavish expenditure SR go in for at Valenciennes I hope they’ve got private jets and a decent piss up arranged for Tonda.Ideally he’ll get pissed and give Rasmus a kick in the nuts from the fans before heading home.

Interesting points raised but:

was the back 3/5 his decision or something imposed on him, and for whatever reason the shackles have been lifted ? Have to see what happens rest of season, although we might never know

Recruitment - same can be said for Ralph and Still. It seems only Martin was allowed to indulge in bringing his preferred players in.

GK - much improved, but too soon to judge if we have settled the position yet.

Making changes during the game when we need them is one of the critical things to see over the remaining season. Allowing  for what he has at his disposal of course, as of Monday pm he might not have a second striker to call on.

7 points from 9 since switching to back 4. I thought tactically was very good today snuffled Thomas who had 44% assists and goals of Stoke this season.
