OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago If he does a job similar to Che did and can not only be in the right place in the penalty area but also lay off a ball, then his loan will prove worthwhile. Like most on here, I'm not expecting much and on paper the loan deal is all pretty uninspiring, but this is the market Spors knows so hopefully he's seen something in him. Still think we should be scouting the lower leagues in this country. The physicality of the Championship has proved more than a match for signings like Mara and Downs and just because Larin looks stronger, it'll be interesting to see how he copes with being pushed around and having the odd lump kicked out of him.

If you want peak Armstrong replacement, then less so. Maybe he'll be the non-scoring Heskey that makes the rest of the team tick... What SR have done is very clever there, I dont know which one of them hes replacing so I dont know how annoyed I should be 1 1

Given that Armstrong should never have been playing up front in the first place, this isn't a bad way to look at it

I assume it is pronounced "Kyle" It's pronounced Cilla, as in Cilla Black. We brought him in thanks to Rasmus' Blind Date approach to recruitment, where you've not to use your eyes. 1

On this forum he's already been called a prick, donkey, joke just off the top of my head before even signing for us. I also disagree about his stats being bad, he generally has a good goalscoring record across his career, albeit in mostly weaker leagues. Maybe La Liga was a step too far or the league just didn't suit him. But we're mid table in the Championship now, that's our level. People are placing far too much weight on what the Feyenoord fans are saying about him. He's barely played for them (1 start I think)? Of course they're not going to be gushing. Has anyone looked to see what Besiktas fans thought of him, where he scored almost 1 in 2? Sometimes it doesn't work out for a number of reasons. As someone who saw him play a few games for Canada I was mildly pleased when I saw the link, I just can't quite believe the venom that has been spewed about his signing, probably from people who have never seen him play. Especially as his profile is what many have been calling for. A physical presence with a half decent scoring record. He may well turn out crap and fair enough if so, but at least it's only a loan. I hope our fans give him a fair crack of the whip but I'm not holding my breath. The comments are more harsh as we have let Arma go.if larin came in as a loan to replace downs that’s fine . The whole situation looks to have weakened us for very little reward 7 million for a striker that has been a consistent 20 goal a season man and to replace him with someone’s who’s been struggling for 3 years just doesn’t make any sense 1

This idea that he's consistently prolific at this level is skewed by a couple of good seasons and by the importance of his play-off goal. I think £7 million (+) for someone who sort of relies on his pace and will be 30 during the season Wolves have bought him for, is decent business but maybe that's just me. I think the issue with this is that people are concerned about the replacement scoring goals. Had we gone out and signed someone well known for scoring goals, I think AA's sale would come across as less of an issue. Larin probably isn't the long term answer but he's only here for 5 months. 1

I assume it is pronounced "Kyle" I keep looking at his name and I'm sure its an Inuit name, with him being Canadian and all. I think it means "Sacred pathway from beyond time that is dedicated by the gods for the passage of two wheel vehicle driven forever onward by round foot after round foot" you know Cycle Lane
Hatch Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Has he been given a shirt number yet ? you know, for those of us who want to get tattoos ahead of his debut 1
