100%. Play the game you're playing, not the next one.

(But we can beat WBA without Downes)

We can. We can also beat WBA without Bree, good as he has been.   Jelert is quite capable of doing the job.   Benjii’s right though, strongest team on the pitch for the game in front of you, not the one that follows.

Takes me back the when you could choose either the sitting or standing section at some grounds, the Dell included.

I always do as standing at football matches unless in the designated safe standing area is considered a breach of ground regulations and may rightly lead to ejection, banning orders or other punishment. One must comply at all times with legislation.

I'm going because that's one of the most important games of the run in. Win that game and our confidence will be sky high (pun not intended!).

But first, let's win this midweek game. Can see Stewart starting and hopefully Charles is back.

It kind of is the least important game of the run in though, he isn't wrong 🙃 - they're top of the league and most teams will lose there. If you were picking any game for saints to drop points in, it would be that one.

Apparently the FAB have a new 'ICE' force and they will be enforcing rules at West Brom, anyone found with a paper ticket will have their right hand chopped off and anyone found standing in the seated area will be kneecapped. FABia law is coming.

Old gits like me. I fully understand those who prefer to stand and indeed there once was a time when I would have been in amongst them but the ravages of time have taken their toll on my knees. That's why I am reluctant to go to away games unless I can be assured of a seat. And a view to go with it.

Given your recent indoctrination by the FAB i can reveal the forum believes that any post, such as your one about standing, could be considered entrapment with posters reported to the FAB, identities shared by the forum owners with guilty fans suffered to the same cleansing techniques. Post at your peril Saintsweb, trust no one.

Got a paper ticket for sale at above face value, it's a seated one but you'll be in a group of my mates so will have to stand. Posting here as I know I can trust you lot not to rat me out to the FABstapo.

Should be in front of the FABstapo firing squad for asking for more than face value for a ticket IMO

We might.

Would be 86 points. Boro on for 88 at their current PPG. Bit of a long shot but can’t hurt to dream.

Watch us get comfortably turned over tonight

Ticket touting AND encouraging a breach of ground regulations? @Noodles34 will be sending your post to FAB as we speak as i heard that as part of his plea deal he agreed to be this board's resident grass.

Using the ticket app for the first time, I've got tickets for me and my son which I can see on the app, but I can't transfer his ticket to him because when I put in his email address both tickets are  'greyed out' and won't let me select them?  Any advise would be welcome, ta.

Will he be physically with you? Should be OK if so, a steward can see you have two tickets and can wave you both through.

WBA 0-4 Saints,  I'm now thinking as its all setup for us to play a really strong positive game after the Fulham result and results going our way.

Its not like few weeks ago now its all in Saints control, win and its a case keep winning.

Hopefully our starting 11, best 11 an stay on pitch for most of the game.

Big game for both sides.  First goal could be crucial, if we get it their fans could turn toxic, if they get it, it'll give them something to hang on to in the fight against the drop.  I just hope the players recover well after today and are ready to go again on Wednesday.  It'll be interesting to see if there are any glitches with the new electronic ticketing system as well.

The whole point of IT and anything digital is to create glitches,  that's part of the service!!!

Everything about West Brom is shit apart from that boozer with the curry house in it.

We should comfortably beat the most boring, dour fuckers in the entire league.

3-0 win.  Flynn Downes to continue his fine form and beat the shit out of them.

People who cant stand up, if you got bad varicose veins then standing or sitting for to long needs to be avoided. Most of the defenders Saints play against need to sit down in pitch also especially when Saints on the attack.

Thought he'd leave out Fellows for this one. That's a strong side so let's see if they can do the business in this crucial game.

That's for the NuremFAB trials to decide not you.

He's been poor ever since he came in, case to be made for both Matsuki and Edozie being ahead of him.

That’s the strongest team he could have picked. Solid bench as well.

Slight concern that Jelert not on the bench. If Bree gets a yellow then is Jelert fit for the next 2 games, let alone what would happen if Bree were to be injured, guess we'd revert to the dreaded 3 at the back.

Welington still not fit either presumably.

Hopefully we'd Shoehorn right back and just bring Wood in st CB.

I reckon Bragg could do a decent job at RB too.

Agree on Matsuki. Haven't really seen any signs that Edozie has improved - still too easy to knock off the ball and little end product.

I've heard that he reckons he could play in any position and be the bestest in the whole world.

Strong team, thought Fellows might have started just as it means a little extra for him.

Really need a comfortable win without any drama

If Fellows was on form I'd agree but probably not the game for him whilst he is struggling as he'd perhaps try too hard and put extra pressure on himself.

There aren't many games that would have been better for him to show something than a team in the relegation zone, but boy does he need to show something soon.

Especially when we'll be up against Premier League opposition next season (oh and we'll be in Europe because of our cup win).

I know a few were against it but given the yellow cards will reset after Saturday's game (and it's against Coventry), I would've rested Downes for this one.

Downes has got better this season but CM is the one position I feel a little comfortable about Charles, Bragg and Jander doing a job in there. I prefer Downes in there but the others are good enough. Play each game as it comes and play the strongest team you can IMO.
