I actually don't see him going.  Think he's got a bit of a point to prove, knows he'll do well under TE, doesn't quite want the upheaval, knows he's got time on his side and believes in himself and will get a move that'll suit him at some point. 

Would be interesting to see what his father-in-law thinks cause that'll have a large say in it and I doubt RK will sugar-coat anything.

I don’t think he’ll leave, unless a substantial offer that the club can’t refuse comes in.

They’ll be some on socials and on here that are probably creaming at the idea of him going on deadline day just so they’ll have something to moan about.

But this summer feels different, it’s us as a club against the world, with a point to prove, and I think we will.

We will win the league this season.

Saw that Michael Antonio is trying to come back. That would be more in the line of a striker we’d like over archer. 

We would need to provide a player shuttle service, of course, between him and Damion.

The 28-year-old has less than two years left on his contract and is increasingly likely to leave Chelsea permanently.

Tosin is open to exploring other opportunities, with a reunion with former Fulham boss Marco Silva understood to appeal.

Players are happy until they aren't. Being denied the opportunity to play at a bigger club and earn more can quickly change a players frame of mind.

Benfica must know we'd want more than we paid for him. The price feels too rich. Are they paying £30m or whatever for a defender from our second tier?

If the Benfica link is genuine, it may be Silva that has suggested him, which probably means he's on Fulhams radar too. Do they need a cb?

Id be tempted to go for Noah Eile from Bristol City. Thought he looked good last season.

He's obviously not going for that price but all the talk is designed to promote him - replace Benfica with a Prem club and I would be concerned

Or Benfica are using THB to try and put pressure on Tosin/Chelsea? Out of those two players, Tosin makes much more sense as he was a good player for Silva at Fulham.

He most likely wants to play in the Premier League and right now he's at one of the promotion favourites. He's only 24 and still learning the game, another season at this level will do him good. I still think he stays but if we're not in the top two conversation in January he'll likely go IMO. 

But...money talks, as ever. Sports Republic would sell their Granny if someone bid enough.

Jander aside, I can't see anyone paying the money we'd want to get them.

Not many 'championship' centre backs go for that kind of money, so seems a reasonable number. I guess it depends on how you saw his PL season as to whether you consider him a PL player. Personally, I thought he struggled as much as the others, but not easy to assess when the team as a whole defends so poorly

He was terrible, and to be honest, until about February of this year i’d have driven him to wherever would have him. But since the unbeaten run he’s been unbelievable, and now feels integral to any success we might have this season. Funny how quickly it can change.

He's probably the best if not one of the best CBs in the Championship (TransferMrkt has his valuation at least as second behind only Todibo), England capped, only 24, ball playing and he has 2 years of his contract remaining. I suspect if anyone were to sign him this window it would be for a very significant sum. A quick look on TransferMrkt shows the top record sale for a CB was Nathan Ake for around £40 million to City from Bournemouth, but after that it's Ben Godfrey for around £24 million to Everton.

No harm keeping THB until Jan. His value won't erode massively and we'll know whether we have a shot of the autos by then.
