He scored plenty of goals for Blackburn. He also did well at Sheffield United and Derby. For whatever reason he just hasn’t managed to perform for us.

It was a Hampshire lad from Winchester that did for them in the end but he couldn't cook.

He had a purple patch for Blackburn but he was fairly crap for them before that.  He did pretty well for Sheffield United in that premier league season but wasn't that great for them in the Championship when we loaned him out and, yeah, for a winger, he did OK for Derby last time round. 
He's such a weird player and I go from feeling quite sorry for him to quite frustrated.  He's not really a winger in the traditional sense, he's got no pace, can't beat a player to save his life and I can't remember the last time I saw him put a cross in.  Good luck to him and I hope he gets a decent move but he's been extremely poor for us.

Yeah I agree.

He looks every bit the traditional center forward, physically, but isn’t.

i think he’s probably best suited to teams who don’t have as much possession, playing for us he’d be required to penetrate a low block fairly often and I haven’t seen 1 minute in 1 game where I thought he’d be able to take on a wing back or make a run in behind, or beat a man and stand up a cross of any quality.

I thought he was a good signing after his stint with Sheffield Utd in the prem and looking at his record, but he’s been absolutely abject to the point I feel genuinely sorry for him

It was Lazio I think , the one where Alcaraz nearly started a riot Great goal on his debut and that was it !

We should start doing the Viking row like the Norway fans in recognition of this

As I told you all last year, there is very little domestic interest in Ramsdale - Newcastle last year was a last throw of the dice.

Yep, might as well as have him as our number 2 keeper, we are paying him and he`s decent

He’d still have the same monetary value sitting on the bench as he would if he was left out completely. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It is frustrating that we’re going to have all these players loaned out rather than cashing in on them.

If no one wants to buy them because their wages are too high then the only choice available is a loan.

Agreed he is the better keeper. I don't think however that he have any intention of playing him. If we were I think he would have played Tuesday. Hopefully the club are working hard on trying to at least get him a loam move.

Ramsdale’s not great with the ball at his feet and that seems to be what holds him back in the modern game.

The guy has been relegated is it three times with three separate teams from the Premit League and susceptible to the odd mistake.

Perez has come in with a big hole to fill after many years of having shit keepers and has seemingly built a rapport and understanding with his teammates and fans, as well as more than performed at this level.

Why would you risk change and bring unrest?

Reflects poorly on him IMO. He could have played for 4 months last season and someone would have panic purchased him in January. Instead he sat on a bench and they still didn't want him. Very strongly seems he refuses to play for us, mad we couldn't come to any agreement in 2 years in which he wants a game. Based on nothing whatsoever but to be honest I wonder if he's not very likeable.

Hardly, he’s not good enough to be starting PL games and his wages are too high for a back up keeper, or any team in the Championship. It’s difficult to see where he goes really. It’ll probably end up being another late loan.

Is an overseas club going to take on a higher amount from Ramsdale's wage than we are paying Peretz in total? If the answer is no then we could arguably have kept him

TBF we did incredibly well to loan him out to Newcastle last year with a loan fee and his wages paid.

By all accounts (from what I have heard) he is a top bloke and a top pro.  I’d send him out on loan with a recall option in case anything happens to Peretz.
