How do West Ham get £40m off Brentford for a full back? Makes Villa’s offer for THB even more paltry.

Diouf looked good in the PL and his contract extends to 2030. THB has a lot to prove at that level.

I have been told my someone that I trust within the club that we categorically won't be relying on Stephens and Wood going into the season ahead so I think that means one CB as a minimum and two if / when THB departs. (They don't mean Quashie for you jokers)

The oracle. (My mate, not me)

I think most of us had figured out that we weren’t just going to sell THB and rely on the three that were left but tell your mate thanks anyway.

Although tbf Alfie house has said this isn't the THB replacement. If we sign another cb after selling THB the other I'd say that's not readily available information that was guaranteed.

Did you read what I said? I said we'd be getting one WITHOUT THB going and two if he does.

Yes, I did read it. You said we wouldn’t be relying on Stephens and Wood, which means somebody will be replacing THB as most people would have assumed. The fact that we’re after this German fella implies that one of the other three is also likely to be off, most likely JQ who doesn’t seem to be in Tonda’s plans, even for cup games.

I would be really disappointed to get JWP back.  He’s another sideways/backwards merchant.  We don’t want any more of them.

Wouldn't be surprised if JWP was used throughout the midfield - both in the bragg/Charles Role, but also as rotation for azaz.

He would be fucking great in Azaz's position.  All that sideways and backwards passing will get us loads of goals.
