Just got seated in Blackpool Grand Theatre to watch "Dial M for murder", so will have to hope for a Saints win without being able to watch.

Lose or draw, and we just look a bit adrift in the sludge of mid table.

I think it's also important to get a statement away win; we have been pretty poor away this season. Great to smash it at home but it's time to get some momentum to drive us forward to some tough games after the international break.

If you think that bench looks weak, I’ve no idea what you’d expect for a strong one. Mubama, Dobbin, Wely, Edozie, Stephens, Fellows and Bragg would start for a large number of Championship teams.

Mumbamas goals have both been late ones Fellows can create opportunities we’ve not seen the best of Dobbin yet but he’s got 10 goals in an average team last year I’m not a fan of Edozie but he’s a tricky option off the bench

West Ham aside is there a championship side with better attacking options on the bench? Swansea arguably have more proven strikers in Idah (sort of) and Stewart (when he’s there). I haven’t paid much attention to Wolves. Boro have a decent squad but I don’t think their bench is any better than ours. Beyond that I would struggle. I would like to see somebody who convinces more than Edozie but otherwise I’m not sure we could have reasonably expected much else. Possibly a prem loan in January if someone needs minutes.

I was hoping for a better replacement for Ross Stewart to be honest. I think I'm just downhearted that our squad is weaker than last season.

Well we're really still discovering what Divin is like and how he plays so we cant really decide that yet but at least we know hes not injured half the season. I also think Schott is a better player than THB and the fella ( ha, Ive already forgotten his name) who went to Fulham was only a bit part player so I really dont think we're weaker, but probs should've kept hold of Archer.

Schlotterbeck is an excellent replacement but THB was an absolute beast for us under Eckert.

would one want some of our best players to be on the bench and thus risk reducing our chances of winning.
