Lighthouse Posted Sunday at 12:50 Posted Sunday at 12:50 Only five minutes. I was expecting eleventy million. 2

Sheaf Saint Posted Sunday at 12:54 Posted Sunday at 12:54 Well if ever there was a time to keep our first clean sheet of the season! 🙏 3

ChristopheVAFC Posted Sunday at 12:55 Posted Sunday at 12:55 (edited) Congratulations 🔥🔥❤️🤍 The south coast is Red and White 🔥🔥 Edited Sunday at 12:56 by ChristopheVAFC 3
jrobsbigshorts Posted Sunday at 12:56 Posted Sunday at 12:56 Fucking get in Showed character and composure today I was worried when I saw Stephens starting and when larin came off but Tonda nailed it today , Azaz was immense 2
stknowle Posted Sunday at 12:56 Posted Sunday at 12:56 YES!! Fucking earned that. So satisfying to beat them at last.
James Posted Sunday at 12:56 Posted Sunday at 12:56 Azaz was fantastic and Jander changed it when he came on, brilliant cameo. 5
saintant Posted Sunday at 12:57 Posted Sunday at 12:57 Proud of the lads for that second half. Brilliant performance with 10 men and a massive 3 points. Can't pick a man of the match because it goes to the team. Great to see Jander back. On to Norwich and Tonda will have to look at who is going to be fit because that was a brutal game. Yesssssssss!!!! 2
Saint Fan CaM Posted Sunday at 12:57 Posted Sunday at 12:57 And normality is restored on the South coast. Clean sheet, bragging rights over ‘the visitors’ and one point off the play-offs.
SNSUN Posted Sunday at 12:57 Posted Sunday at 12:57 Decent win in the circumstances. Might have been a few more but for the red card. Bragg will be gutted but at least it didn't cost us. 1
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted Sunday at 12:58 Posted Sunday at 12:58 I'd take that. Great day to keep a clean sheet.
obelisk Posted Sunday at 13:00 Posted Sunday at 13:00 I thought Azaz made a passable centre forward there at the end. 3
Lighthouse Posted Sunday at 13:00 Posted Sunday at 13:00 A result which is completely overshadowed by Bragg being suspended for Norwich. 😔 12
Gloucester Saint Posted Sunday at 13:00 Posted Sunday at 13:00 Saints much more likely to score a second than Portsmouth. They had a cross-shot cleared near the line…and that was it. Leo had an effort well saved getting clear. Azaz outstanding, as was Flynn. Defence did very well, Peretz tidy handling although no genuine saves to make. Skates very poor. Cam Bragg a lucky boy. Time to get fitter and sharper if he wants a career at this level. With Jandar fit, his cameos had better be excellent. 1
OttawaSaint Posted Sunday at 13:00 Posted Sunday at 13:00 Great character to get through that 2nd half with 10 men. COYS!! Now fuck off P$%#y!
saintant Posted Sunday at 13:01 Posted Sunday at 13:01 Would be 3rd now without the poxy 4 point deduction.

Yesssssssss!!!! In hindsight playing Azaz up front was a good decision, he held it up and won loads of free kicks. they didn’t really threaten at all did they in hindsight although it doesn’t feel like that at the time. most relieved man in the stadium will be Bragg. Had we kept 11 on the pitch I’m pretty confident we’d have blown them away but a great, resilient performance in some ways more satisfying. Great to see the lads properly getting stuck in. Downes and Azaz joint man of the match for me. Azaz just oozes class and Downes was magnificent 5
Holmes_and_Watson Posted Sunday at 13:02 Posted Sunday at 13:02 It was never going to be a great second half, in terms of playing. But what a good half in terms of determination, positioning and team effort. Pretty much everyone had their moments, whether holding things up, smart passi g, good positioning or important tackles. Azaz was probably the standout, popping up all over the place across 90+ minutes. Every win is important in such a league. But extra lovely in the derby, in getting back towards the top and in putting a tough spell behind the scenes in the past. 1

Colinjb Posted Sunday at 13:03 Posted Sunday at 13:03 (edited) Tonda got that second half bang on. Brilliant tactical work, brilliant work from every player on that pitch after we went down to ten men. Bragg will either break or make himself from here. Glad his red card wasn't definitive. The occasion did get to the local kid. Shoehorn didn't put a foot wrong, every player put their body on the line with controlled aggression and commitment. Azaz was a class apart. And, giving Bree license to go forward with JWP covering..... gave him space to write himself into our folklore. Edited Sunday at 13:06 by Colinjb 10
