He wasn’t too sure what’s going on but pointed out how they like to do everything behind the scenes. - Maurico, Les and Nicola working very hard, expect to see at least one of the players linked to be finalised. - All the coaching staff big fans of Damiao. - Lovren was actually signed a few days before it was announced. - Two session's a day 9am and 5pm : Early pre-season testing was significantly positive compared to last year's pre season's results. - Calum Chambers & Matty Target to be used in pre-season. - Kelvin potentially involved with GK coaching ( working on badges) - Really pleased with his additional year's contract, loves the vibe at the club. - Staplewood excites him. However. I do not think he was meaning kit. He loved the away kit but was reserving judgement on the home one. He did not think there would be a mass change in players, just few good additions but a big season for many of the first team squad. I think it was more our profile, playing style (we started that last season) and "overall set up". I have no more knowledge on SMS developments but we all know Cortese's views on that. We know how Staplewood is developing. I think the changes will be driven by these sorts of thing as well as the massive ambition which again has been widely reported. For every 1 person that slags you off there are a dozen like me who log on numerous times a day to hear what people have to say. It is up to us to decide whether we should believe or not what each person is saying. I live in the West Midlands and hear more about what's happening at villa then I do about saints and I miss the talk in the pubs & at work so need forums like this and posters like you.
