Now we are 3rd on full merit having played the exact same number of games as the teams below us, and if Utd can beat Arsenal then we will stay two points off top. Now we sit here so far this season competing in the top four, might have a chance to go top a third of the way through the season next gameweek, and we're being praised as the future of English football. We've had nearly half a decade of chairman setting expectations far higher than the most optimistic fans even dared to really hope for, and then the team beating those expectations every single time.
