Me too until I saw Australian Saints post on FB of Charlie getting stuck into the skirmish after the final whistle at Goodison. 
Made me think, with the rebirth of Sulemana under Juric, whether Ivan could have gotten a tune out of him too adding Fernandes into the trio, or would that have been a bit too random.

They're in for a shock. Even in our team last season, he was pretty dreadful in the central position. It was out wide where he thrived. The miss against Brentford this season in a central position also lives in the memory.

In this season of utter dross it is one of those glimmers of hope, knowing our academy is still capable of churning out stars of the future and allowing the proper teams to poach them before I've been made aware of their existence.

I had exactly the same thought about Nathaniel Clyne whilst watching the Palace game yesterday. Astonishingly, Phil Jones has also only just turned 33. I could have sworn he was about 22, playing for Blackburn about 18 years ago but apparently not.

Still, at least Saints future is looking bright. It's only three years until we can sign all three of them and say they're great lads to have in the dressing room.
