Quite a few PL on PL games if we get through good chance of avoiding another PL team in the next round........... maybe

So many "fans" throwing the towel in. Embarrassing. Let's hope the players have a bit more about them.

Agreed . What's the matter with some people?

They'll rest a few and after winning the fa cup last year to get people off his back, Wenger won't give a shiny shiete about the league cup. If we play our best side we'll have a sniff.

Likely that that will be on TV, so we'll get extra money on the coffers and get to play against the Arsenal players who aren't knackered from Champions League ties.

We might as well knock out the 'top' teams on the way to the final.

On the basis we're taking the competition seriously and intend to put out a side close to full strength and Arsenal will rest the vast majority of their key players, we do have a fair chance, certainly will be a close game - look at the 2nd half at Anfield for evidence we can certainly compete.

We can have a massive allocation at cheap tickets, up to 6-10k tickets I think, so a good chance for all those that don't manage to get a ticket for the league game there.

Did you see the second half?

Banter?? Wtf has that got to do with it?

Banter because I don't think for a second that up to 9000 fans will pay £25 each to watch us beaten on a Tuesday night away from home. Yet we'll all moan about how difficult the tie is.

Grow up and stop being so aggressive.

It could well be £10-£15 a ticket. And if we put out a decent side we'll have a good chance of getting through.

I have bad memories of 3rd rd League Cup ties at Arsenal.

1979 and we had gone 10 years without scoring at Highbury and me and a mate got thrown out of the seats in the West Stand for basically being pis sed and abusive to cheating irish divers (Liam Brady). Spent half-time trying unsuccessfully to get back in, so went for a pint and missed Steve Williams getting an equaliser. Then came back and got in the North Bank, just in time to see Brady get the winner.

I'm in, never been able to get tickets for the Emirates but been to Highbury plenty of times.

Wanted Arsenal/Fulham/Palace away (in reverse order) so can't really complain..... but we will need two of yesterday's second halves and their squad/youth X1 will need a massive off-day for us to go any further.

The only way we'd sell 9,000 tickets for that game is if we'd never played at the ground before. If it's on telly, we'd probably sell about 3,000 tickets. If it isn't on TV, maybe 5,000 tickets. Think Arsenal tend to charge their own fans cheap prices for these sort of games, so it may be close to a sell-out.
