This is it really, he’s probably been one of our least obviously shit players over the last 5 or 6 years. Make no mistake though, he also is in no way a Premier League quality player.

Guys my upbeat optimistic mindset is taking a beating today, why are we so shit everywhere.

Why can't we ever score a proper goal, why can't our CBs defend, why don't we have actual midfielders.

Can we just forfeit the season now.

I honestly fear for next season, I can't see how we recover from a year of this.

God knows what the future holds for this club, but I don't think it's pretty.

Very poor performance but not surprised with Big Les and Sulemana left out after playing well on Thursday. Not sure Downes heart is in this club since his mate got the boot.

I thought that last time.

Sheffield United just went top of championship. They were horrible last season too. There is hope for us still.

I am inclined to agree. Teams who were a lot better than us have gone down and struggled. Just look at Luton, their team of last season would destroy our lot.

We are moving into unexplored waters here when we go down. I don't think we can assume a couple of months of summer holidays is going to resolve the problems.

Why do we always ship so many goals? This shit goes back before even RM was in charge.

At this point we've accumulated so many embarrassing records at this level... They should just give us a ban from playing in the premier league.

As another poster mentioned. Despite MLG continuously harping on about how our team are great championship players. I'd be more than happy if we replaced the whole lot bar 1 or 2. Absolute wasters with dreadful mentalities.

We need a complete clear out. Next season I don't want a single one of the senior squad to remain. Not even any of the so called better players, incase they carry the infection. 

And their replacements need to be picked by people not involved with deciding the likes of Bednerick and Stephens, and Smallbone, and Armstrong etc etc, are Premiership quality.

Bunch of fucking cunts. Setting a new low points total was obvious after about 2 weeks of the season. Everything and everyone associated with this club this season are wankers. Except us lot, why on earth are we bothering?

This is a different level of horrible though, like we're not even close. We're not competitive in any game we play.

I get the gap is big, but it's not this big - which is why I can't see things being too different in a lower league with this bunch. Mentally most of them will never recover.

The players should refund season ticket holders and anyone whose brought a ticket to a game this season..... least they can do and would be small change to them!

Not watching as son has an Ice Hockey match, but is Armstrong doing his party trick of running towards a player in possession, then stopping about 3m away, allowing him all the time in the world to select a pass?  It’s the most pathetic thing in premiership football, someone needs to make a YouTube montage of it.

It’s just the same mistakes week after week after week. It didn’t work under RM and we are still in the aftermath of that. The pointless passing and defensive mistakes. I don’t think many of these players really want to be here anymore. Downes has gone downhill, Bednarek has reverted to below average.
Personally, I couldn’t care less about the lowest points total. We go down whether we get 8 or 33. Means nothing.
It will take a while to recover from but it will happen. The way we swept Swansea away shows that we will be fine again in the championship.

I have to say I fear our star is very very much on the wane. I think the best we can hope for is a few seasons of Norwich hopping but even that is unlikely and is an utterly fucking depressing thought anyway. I didn’t think the level of disillusionment I feel right now was even possible.

give the ball away badly, leave ourselves open at the back, don't have a good shield for defenders, don't have great defenders. There is a lack of fighters and players that do the dirty work in midfield.  We don't have dominate and powerful players for set pieces. We over play in dangerous areas, we make simple mistakes....the list goes on and on.

It probably correlates to when Bednarek became a regular starter for us.

Well look at the personnel and who are the same “defenders”? 

KWP, I really like him but defending he’s not the best, Stephens, ok he’s injured at the moment and Janny B!

Theyve been here throughout this period of being unable to defend !
