As a Derby resident I can't disagree except to say that Southampton is just as bad.

Pride Park is not a shithole by any stretch.

We've got a fucking concrete slop merchant next to ours.

Which is apparently a big attraction to Dragan Solak.. Or something....

Derby overall. Have some ambition.Β

We would be mad not to bring Ralph back now he’s left Wolfsburg.Β
Β

That’s if he’s prepared to come to the funny farm. He would rock the Championship with a bit of financial support to rebuild.Β
Β

Unfortunately I think he’s too big a name and has far better clubs that would be in for him.Β
Β

Hurts like hell to say it, but we are sliding into the abyss until someone grabs us by the balls, (excuse the pun).
Β

In that I mean a proper Chairperson in control with a DOF and a top European league manager.Β

Obviously, we're waiting until we are officially relegated and his current team Kidderminster, are finished with their playoffs to establish compensation. πŸ™‚

That time has been and gone. I was a big fan of Ralph and always will be, his departure was handled horrifically by the fools in charge of the club, but we shouldn't go back. Both sides have moved on now.

It's pretty much exactly the same stadium built to the same Barr specification of the late 90s. If there is a marginal difference in max capacity it will be due to fannying around with corporate space vs seats.

Β

No agreed same template. From memory they have a larger 2nd tier on one side.

Crucially the seats are bigger and there is standard leg room. They didn't squeeze in extra seats that Lowe insisted on. Good business decision but uncomfortable.

Gosh! I am out of touch. Looking forward to this getting done at the earliest. It's a good time to be buying garden chairs. And I hear we'll be shopping, so the players can have a seat in the centre circle, for their half time team talks.

Surely we can temp Warnock out of retirementΒ

We could accidentally drop a brown envelope. That would bring Saggy Bagpuss racing back...because he's very strict about littering. We could chat to him about the vacancy while he's here.

Rednapp & Son, with their comical rag and bone horse, bringing back cartloads of discarded midfielders, for a fee,Β  could be the back up choice to the Big Sam/Little Sam dream ticket.

With parasols of course. Don't want any excuses of wilting in the heat in the second half.

No.

No, no, no and nope.

I love RH: at his best he was superb. He did wanders for us. But he was completely wrecked by the end, and should've left months before.

I see little benefit in trying to resurrect the past.

Someone like him: yes. But not the man himself. That would be pointless and cruel.

Totally agree with all this, good post.

However don't change 'wanders', love typos like that.

Now we know why our defence goes wandering about πŸ˜‚

Cooper is fine for the Championship but not good enough for the Premier. Dyche would get you back up & keep you up but Oh My Sweet Lord the football will be horrible.
