LGTL Posted April 23 Posted April 23 They rang me today too. The guy was very nice so I saw no reason to be rude. Season Ticket details out next week. 1
Hardbark2 Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Yes from me, had one for 20 odd years, looking forward to the Championship, no VAR, much less possesion based football and most of all Martin not managing the team. Thought last season in the Champo was pretty dire even though we won a lot of games, with Martins soul destroying tactics. 3
Convict Colony Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I will be renewing my illegal streaming site bookmark for next season. Am very positive we will see us win again before Xmas.

Wade Garrett Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Honestly in the balance now. Will wait until the new manager is appointed. If it’s another clever bollocks appointment I don’t think I’ll bother. 6

If winning 26 games was dire, I'd be interested in how you would describe this season. Good chance we dont win that many next season 1

madge Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I won’t until I see the ambition of the club… had a season ticket at afc totton this year and that’s been a much better experience 2
Tommy Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Back in a much better league, more interesting away days, day trippers gone, no VAR…damn right we will be renewing. 1
spyinthesky Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I am waiting with much anticipation at the thought of spunking £500-£600 to spend every fortnight watching us struggle in the Championship.

I’m suspecting they’ll dress up a “price freeze”, or “small increase” as added value seeing as we’ll have “more games”. Given I got raped for a 50% increase on my lads ST last year I expect I’ll feel somewhat pee’d off. They’ll cite all sorts like cost of living, inflation, wanting to build to bounce back…..blah blah blah….After all, have they got much right since taking over?? Judging by the last couple of attendances they might be in for a bit of a rude awakening. Though I sincerely doubt they’ll have any kind of insight
Mozz Posted Wednesday at 10:52 Posted Wednesday at 10:52 The interesting bit will be what happens with the Northam. From memory, the Northam escaped the price rise of other areas under an 'early bird' option before the Championship season ended (and before specific prices for other areas were announced), seemingly as an inducement to get people to move to the new standing area. Will they maintain this or shift the prices up in line with other areas? The latter will be an interesting message to manage as will effectively amount to a relegation increase for everyone there.
Saint86 Posted Wednesday at 12:37 Posted Wednesday at 12:37 (edited) Re grumbling about price freezes. Surely getting more football/saints per pound spent is a cost saving and a good thing? 😅 Particularly as so many of our fans are adamant that the championship is a better league? 😀🙃 Edited Wednesday at 12:38 by Saint86 2
eurosaint Posted Wednesday at 13:26 Posted Wednesday at 13:26 Having never had value for my ST over many years now, I have decided to pack it in and get a membership ! I'm away for a couple of months every winter (in the southern hemisphere!) and have choir practice on Tuesday nights so the number of games I attend will be around 60% at best ! The other factor was my change of seat/block as I didn't want to sit directly beside the away fans ! Getting to the bus for the ferry has also been an issue ! All in all, it's not worth it although I actually prefer the Championship ! 2
lambtiss Posted Wednesday at 13:27 Posted Wednesday at 13:27 I will be renewing, the last season in the Championship was the best season I remember for several years. Hopefully, this will be too.

I certainly don't think I can justify an increase. Unless they do another early bird? With essentially the same pricing as the last early bird, just more games?

Example Championship prices up the road from us, small ground that they fill easily compared to us with plenty of seats , family prices look excellent Edited Wednesday at 15:55 by Football Special 2

TheAlehouseBrawlers Posted Thursday at 08:57 Posted Thursday at 08:57 I was a ST holder for many seasons until fairly recently when I decided to chuck it in for a Membership. I’ve still no real desire to change that and will once again just take my chances as a member. But this moment keeps me returning in the hope of it one day repeating - May 1st 1976 (only 4 or 5 years after I first started going!)
Football Special Posted Friday at 14:01 Posted Friday at 14:01 Sheffield Wednesday prices look horrific, hopefully Saints subsidise for away fans again when we play up there 1
Wade Garrett Posted Saturday at 17:14 Posted Saturday at 17:14 Shit season, an owner who wants to sell, no manager, major squad reconstruction required. Going to be a hard sell. I’m in my mid-fifties and have supported Saints all my life life - even I’m on the fence. 4
gio1saints Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) My seat was very unlucky this season. My lucky neighbours from previous year moved and I reckon that’s what did it for us. Think I will move also. Or not renew. Please Saints people who read this forum ( yes, YOU!😎) give me a good reason to renew for next year as : 1. The footballing match day experience has been poor , very poor. The “ entertainment” is Pot luck and there is no guarantee we win each match I get it. But EVERY SINGLE MATCH except one to get beat and only a meagre set of draws? It’s not a good backdrop to sell next season from at premium prices. So- Season ticket renewing price adjustment, downwards, please. 2. The non footballing match day experience has deteriorated, badly. I initially thought that beer tent playing live music thing outside Northam was going to be alright - and no disrespect to the bands they are giving it their best- but all it does is creates massive logjams outside northam from people queuing for beer, from people queuing to get into the ground, from people queuing at the kiosks and people standing from a distance around and outside looking in plus others trying to get past the stewards and rubbish bins. The footprint available is too small for all that. There’s simply not enough room for all that’s there. In Real Estate terms Space= luxury = value added , and in this instance Saints have, sadly, gone in reverse - with that solution we have Less space = less exclusive = value reduced. Being turned into a sardine or having to waddle like a penguin to get from one end of Northam to another is not an upgrade worth renewing a ST at a premium or even same price as last year. So, Season ticket renewal adjustment, downwards, for next season, please. Use the goddamn parachute money to subsidise it if you have to, better spent there than on another BBD for instance!
