Why do the coaches and players waste time and petrol money going to Staplewood? They might as well just turn up on match day, get beaten and then disappear until the next one - couldn't do any worse.

It’s a miracle these clowns have got 11 points.

Expect divvies in the away end will still clap them off.

In fairness, you can hear discontent on the stream.

More than likely.

Although from what I can hear there's quite a few boos coming from the away end for a change.

Really poor first half. Surely Rusk has to change to a back four and make at least a couple of changes. Stewart needs more support up top. Play two strikers and get balls into the box.

At least those divvies have bothered to go and support their team during this shit show of a season

Did say that the fans should have abandoned this team months ago. "What good would that do?" was the reply. Well what good has supporting them in numbers done? These cunts dont deserve an ounce of support

If we disregard the two goals, this performance is a disgraceful advert for professional football. Watching that team - a team that has played many, many games together - would have you believing that they’d never had a coaching session…never discussed how to form a cohesive attacking movement…never had coaching on set plays etc etc etc.

It really is disgraceful.

When a team is as shit as this the only answer is to get rid of the lot of them and start again next season.  There is not one of them I ever want to see wearing a Saints shirt again.

Yet again we are making another awful side [ although better than us ] look like Brazil of years ago. Unless we get the right manager and players who actually want to play for the shirt, league 1 here we come.

Why can't the manager and players see it?

Birtles is getting really frustrated with our crappy negativity and he hasn't has to watch this pile of shit all season.

To be fair it's only Leicester that seem to have any desire to actually score. These boring defensive tactics just are not working.

It’s like we are trying to hold on to 0-0 even after going 1 then 2 down. I genuinely, fundamentally don’t get it. Utter wankers in charge of the club, the team, and on the pitch. Detest what we have become.

Birtles telling us that we've gone downhill since he played against us in the league cup final for Forest in 1979 was the highlight of the first half. Fucking moron.

He’s a total fucking moron

Calling @Matthew Le God to the thread to remind us how much better these players are than most Championship teams... ;)

This match doesn't show otherwise. Leicester were comfortably the best side last season in the Championship. Both teams are shit in the Premier League and very good in the Championship. Leicester being slightly less shit in the PL and us being less good in the Championship.

Singing you're not fit to wear the shirt

sadly as the club is at present they are basically fit to wear the shirts, as they are a complete bunch of no-hopers

Tbf Leicester have played us off the pitch the last god knows how many times they've played us. The gap between the two teams is very worrying.

They are currently better than us this season and last season. But that doesn't mean other Championship teams that are not Leicester are better than us.

Turned it off after 35 mins. Utter garbage. Never seen such a poor Saints team in all my life.

Whoever takes over as manager has got a massive task in hand. There's a completely new team needed. A fresh start from scratch or we're going the same way as Luton.

I haven't watched them for the last 15 games or so. They don't deserve any ones time or money.

How does finishing 7th achieve that?

Sorry I meant I'd forfeit any shot at promotion (no idea why we'd want that, but it's what the club will be looking at) if we can have a completely fresh start

I'd snap your hand off for 7th next season if it meant getting rid of every last one of these cunts.

You're in cloud cuckoo land, there is no way on this earth we will be anywhere near seventh, and who the fuck is going to buy even half of the complete and utter crap that we have amassed as a 'squad'?

Finishing 7th is disastrous for the club. The longer we stay in the Championship, the harder it is to get out of it. Income drops off significantly each season you don't go up, especially if we aren't promoted after the 2nd season.

Your defending of this utter shit makes you barking

What specifically did I say that was 'barking'? We are completely out of depth in the PL, Leicester are better than us. But none of that means other Championship clubs (bar Ipswich) next season will be better than us.
