LiberalCommunist Posted Tuesday at 19:05 Posted Tuesday at 19:05 (edited) Alex has done more in a minute than Baz has done in a month. Edited Tuesday at 19:06 by LiberalCommunist 2
die Mannyschaft Posted Tuesday at 19:06 Posted Tuesday at 19:06 Its a stronger team put out by Still. But also a very strong Liverpool side. I was expecting a full U21s side, its a Prem top 6 v Championship botton 6 game. As long as we play out best that's as best we can hope 5 shots, 37% ball, 3 corners, 270 passes, 19 saves, 125 passes back or side. Not sure how many goals for and against
die Mannyschaft Posted Tuesday at 19:07 Posted Tuesday at 19:07 Blimey best game of season in 6 mins. 3 corners and 2 shots on target 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted Tuesday at 19:07 Posted Tuesday at 19:07 Fuck me we’re looking like a decent team!
Suhari Posted Tuesday at 19:08 Posted Tuesday at 19:08 Decent start. Pressing, moving it quickly, some forward passes. 2
Paul_B Posted Tuesday at 19:08 Posted Tuesday at 19:08 I know it's early, but fuck me, are we ok??! 2 2
Saint NL Posted Tuesday at 19:09 Posted Tuesday at 19:09 So all season we are the big fish playing important games..... When all we really needed was to be the underdog in a meaningless game

adrian lord Posted Tuesday at 19:13 Posted Tuesday at 19:13 Some hitherto hidden gems in this line up of ours...
RedArmy Posted Tuesday at 19:13 Posted Tuesday at 19:13 What a backwards pass from Downes!! Outstanding.
Hoggins Posted Tuesday at 19:15 Posted Tuesday at 19:15 Can see straight away Jelert looks very sharp 2
Wsaint Posted Tuesday at 19:16 Posted Tuesday at 19:16 Armstrong playing with a point to prove, lord knows we could do with his previous championship form. 2
Saint Fan CaM Posted Tuesday at 19:17 Posted Tuesday at 19:17 I hope Still learns something from this game…it’s like watching a different club.
Saint Scott Posted Tuesday at 19:18 Posted Tuesday at 19:18 Positive start, just hope we don't crumble when they inevitably score
coalman Posted Tuesday at 19:19 Posted Tuesday at 19:19 I know this is tempting fate in the worst way possible but our defence looks so much better without THB and Stephens in it. Not just being able to defend but also not cunting about slowly at the back. 4 4
John Boy Saint Posted Tuesday at 19:19 Posted Tuesday at 19:19 We get up the pitch into good position with support then defend superbly all the way back under no pressure???

trousers Posted Tuesday at 19:20 Posted Tuesday at 19:20 (edited) Fair assessment...? Edited Tuesday at 19:21 by trousers
Viking Saint Posted Tuesday at 19:21 Posted Tuesday at 19:21 (edited) Am getting a bit confused with this pace, forward movement, closing down and sharp invisive passing. WTF is going on?? Edited Tuesday at 19:21 by Viking Saint

Actually playing him would probably be a good start. Every time I’ve seen us play a 4-2-3-1 well (and I know we aren’t tonight) one of the wide players has been a supporting striker. Lambert with Lallana one side and Tadic the other wouldn’t have worked, you need a J Rod, Mané or AA making the runs into the box. I think that’s why our strikers have looked isolated thus far. Let’s try a string of games with AA, Azaz and Fellows in behind Archer. 3
VectisSaint Posted Tuesday at 19:21 Posted Tuesday at 19:21 How come Jamie Carragher is running the line tonight? 1

John Boy Saint Posted Tuesday at 19:22 Posted Tuesday at 19:22 What’s Jamie Carragher doing on the flag on this near touchline? 🤪

trousers Posted Tuesday at 19:25 Posted Tuesday at 19:25 Good stop McCarthy. Has to start Saturday (but won't)
