Well, he's being told to play left wing in a team who's entire gameplan is to pass it to the right winger and hope for the best.

at the right winger is starting the attack from our own half...madness

Problem is Wilder is a decent seasoned manager. He's clearly done his research on Saints. Utd are pressing the life out of Fellows and Azaz.

That is making Saints look slow and ponderous, as they have no outlet. Utd are then able to shut off most attacks.

Still just doesn't seem able to respond to these situations. Very worrying, he needs to up his game.

Despite all that, Saints have got behind Utd on a few occasions and created chances. There is hope!

Here we go then.

Positives.

Nathan Wood has been excellent.

Tom Fellows has been our best attacking threat.

Ross Stewart has had his best 45 minutes for Saints.

Not much else

He's doing too much walking football today and engaging in the Russball fest.

Only thing I can assume is Fellows is struggling. There was one point late on where he was bent over with his hands on his knees and looked knackered, but I was hoping it was just that he'd gone on a sprint just before it.

Fellows has to be injured? Surely? A completely fucking ridiculous decision if not.

Got to be head and shoulders best player on the pitch
