Bloody hell, feel sorry for the Blackburn fans. Reading their forum is properly depressing.

Even we can’t lose to this lot

Tbf it sounds very similar to this forum.

Moaning about the manager, owners, lack of fan action etc...

Jack Walker, a football fan brought in football management and football players (didn't Shearer come from us?). When he passes away, a bunch of rich chancers take over to have a toy to play with....oh oh!

Did find it amusing that a couple said if we draw tomorrow it might not be enough to save Still's job.

I used to properly HATE Blackburn as a kid in mid 90s, they "bought" the league in 1995 having taken Shearer , Flowers and Kenna from us and were constantly linked with our players

Selling Shearer for a British record and wasting the money back then is a familiar story ever since

A win is the bare minimum and changes absolutely nothing. Blackburn are so bad that any other result is unthinkable, no matter how shit we might be.

Saints have attempted to buy the Championship this season and failing .

Is anyone genuinely optimistic that we will win?? We played 2 awful teams in our last 2 matches and walked away with a point! What's changing today with no strikers?

Yes, I am optimistic we will win.

I can easily think of us drawing or losing.

Another normal match day. 🙂

I hate this negative thinking. Don't think of us losing - think of us losing narrowly.

I'm just thinking of our xG.

This can actually be expressed in a formula:

RIPxG

Oh sure, I've been a fan of the Rate of Indecisive Passes against Goals we could have scored, since Martin's first training session.

Anyone else excited to see another Will still 3 at the back masterclass?

we should win.. as with the other teams we have played, their entire starting 11 probably cost less than Azaz

Exactly the type of game where we hand it on a plate to the opposition

Let's stick with him though because he deserves at least three years of picking a completely fucking random selection of players every bloody match #trusttheprocess

No Downes or Sesay? They both got the shits too?

Who are we bringing on if Charles or Azaz have to go off? Shoehorn into midfield?

Bragg is a centre mid. I thought Aribo might have got onto the bench but seemingly well out the picture even with 2 midfield injuries/illnesses.

Isn't Bragg a CM?

Hmmm.

So is that Azaz in a deeper role, with 3CBs, or Edwards as a DM with a back 4?

I wonder if the players know!

On paper a 4 of Azaz, Scienza, Archer and Armstrong should create.

We're going to win 3-0

No idea. How has he jumped above Sesay in the pecking order who is currently playing for the u21s instead.

May be an image of American football, football and text that says "STARTING தவ MCCARTHY 2 ROERSLEV EDWARDS WOOD QUARSHIE MANNING CHARLES AZAZ ARMSTRONG () SCIENZA ARCHER P&O CRUISES BAZUNU, WELINGTON, STEPHENS, HARWOOD-BELLIS, BRAGG, FRASER, ROBINSON, OYEKUNLE, DOWNS"

Unless that is Edwards in midfield, that is wild. We will be wide open, and it is not the best use of Azaz picking the ball up in his own half all game

Well unless you've seen every game he and Sesay has played as well as seen them both in training, I'll assume the staff at the club have a better idea of who is ready and who isn't.

Alternatively it could work out to be a stroke of genius, Azaz making himself available deeper and helping to push the ball forward. Blackburn don't offer much threat.

Not his game at all, but let’s see.

kind of like trying to justify Fellows at RWB

Or it’s going to expose our back 3 even more than they have been already.

I know which one is more likely.

So Bragg and Oyekunle make the bench, but Aribo and Edozie are both still completely frozen out.

I can only assume Welington still isn't totally fit otherwise it's nuts to put Manning back in ahead of him.

3 at the back again, against one of the worst teams we will play this season 🤦

No disrespect to Charles who has been excellent, but on his own in CM? Really? 🤨

What even is that formation? 5-1-3-1? 3-3-2-2? I've genuinely no idea.

I really want to like Still and give him more time, but he's really not doing himself any favours with this constant tossed salad approach to team selection.

Based on the last few years of evidence, I trust the fans more than the club staff
