At the risk of being a matcha latte, vegan, beardy, stat-wanker, that's where a hybrid system is useful. We could line up like this in possession: Gk Edwards Wood Stephens Manning Fellows Charles Jander Scienza ------Armstrong---Archer----- and switch to this out of possession: Gk ----Edwards Wood Stephens-- Fellows--Charles--Jander--Manning ------------Scienza--------- Arma - Archer 1

Don't think there'll be much difference in home numbers. Sheffield wednesday bringing about 1900 today. About 1000 more than Preston did

Having a small first team squad has been a blessing for Sheffield Wednesday as they've been able to field a settle starting XI and build consistency, however I hope today with three games in a week and long journey down that it's a game too far for them and we can take advantage 1

I was certain they'd sell out the full away end, normally do I think? They definitely took full allocation and I'd be shocked if more than 1000 went unsold. Edited November 8 by EssEffCee

Saint NL Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Meh, not a big suprise but it's hardly an inspiring line up/formation
tdmickey3 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 A shit goalkeeper and 6 defensive players plus 1 who is not a wing back…pathetic 4

captainchris Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Buzuno ……………………… etc etc etc what is any different to under WS except there was a bit more effort last time out…. 🤷♂️

SouSaint Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Defensive as fuck formation against bottom of the league. The SR way. 2
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Fuck this shit. 5 at the back at home versus the bottom team. 4
scumbag Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Robinson dropped but Baz keeps his place after his latest goalkeeping masterclass.

Osvaldorama Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Fucking hell. 5 at the back again against Wednesday at home. Another borefest then 1
washsaint Posted November 8 Posted November 8 They are protecting RObinson - and rightly so. he cramped up in midweek and had to come off so expecting him to play twice in a handful of days is probably a bit much. I'm glad they're protecting him - look at what happened with Stewart. Playing Azaz though...... 5
Convict Colony Posted November 8 Posted November 8 played like dog shit and he thought let's do it again but replace a goal scorer with a player who does nothing 1
Sheaf Saint Posted November 8 Posted November 8 What exactly was the point of sacking Still when we did if Eckert is just going to do EXACTLY THE SAME FUCKING THINGS! 5 at the back at home against the bottom team Bazunu back in goal despite being so obviously not a Championship standard keeper Azaz in for Robinson after he was utter gash again midweek while Robinson played OK and scored Dear fucking lord. 5
Wade Garrett Posted November 8 Posted November 8 O’Neil would pick a better side and formation than that. Hopefully we can sneak a win. Awaiting the inevitable fuck-up from crisp packet hands. 4
egg Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Not impressed with that. Mads for HWB, line up 4231, and that's a reasonable side. Who's the Williams lad on the bench?

Snippets from ITKs reckon Ekart is a favourite amongst some/all at Board level. Just would be fantastic if he got the job, right? 2 1
OttawaSaint Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Jesus wept. 3CBs again. Fuck off SR. This is maddening! New guy is just WS but with Baz instead of AM. 1

benjii Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Also, how have we managed to get over a quarter of the way through a season with Edozie not featuring at all? He's no world beater but he's not a write-off.
coalman Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Let's hope we can survive to half time so we can get some more centre backs on after the break. 5

Out of possession we could make that work if Scienza dropped into midfield to help out and the two up front grafted a bit (sadly one of them is Archer).
HKsaint Posted November 8 Posted November 8 We need to find a new manager instantly. The interim manager is just a clown. His selection is terrible.
CB Fry Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Basically we need to not win today to stop this child getting the permanent job. 4 1

suewhistle Posted November 8 Posted November 8 It's patently obvious why Robinson is not starting: he was cramping up in the week after working his socks off. I think some of you on here must think the players are automatons..
adrian lord Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Professional footballers, athletes no less, cannot run around for an hour and a half twice a week then it’s a jolly poor show
CamSaint Posted November 8 Posted November 8 3 minutes ago, benjii said: SOMEONE PLEASE.... who is Williams? Barnaby Williams, U-21 midfielder. He is in the squad because Cameron Bragg has a hamstring issue, as per yesterday's presser. By my calculation, the following are still injured: Charles, Jelert, Fraser, Stewart, Archer & Edozie. Welington is serving the last match of his suspension. So even using the rest of the outfield squad, there is a spare place on the bench. On Wednesday it was Bragg. today it is Williams. I am surprised that Sesay wasn't used as he did well in preseason and has been playing well for the U-21s, but he was kept with the U-21's for last night's draw with Arsenal.
