Holmes_and_Watson Posted yesterday at 21:15 Posted yesterday at 21:15 As @obelisk said, one team playing with a desire to get forward at every opportunity. We prefer to draw them in to create spaces to pass through. As Birmingham get forward, we've been unable to use the space they leave. When we try to draw them in, we regularly fail to get it past them to our forwards. We end up playing too deep, too slowly and with a lack of conviction. Fellows is being well shackled, and they know we have no Leo. That's about it for us. Robinson has had a couple of bright runs. The one he set up that ended up as an Azaz shot. A second he took the shot himself. Fine, but AA was standing centrally in space. I'd have fancied him to score it. We could have done worse than get it to Robinson as we do with Leo. Much rawer, but would have pushed them back, and given Azaz and AA more options. Possibly even free up Fellows a bit. Hopefully, this will be a second half where we're stronger for a change. We'll need to be. 1
benali-shorts Posted yesterday at 21:15 Posted yesterday at 21:15 Maybe 73 year old former footballer Ori Romeu can turn this all around 2
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted yesterday at 21:15 Posted yesterday at 21:15 You just know we're gonna lose this. 1
obelisk Posted yesterday at 21:16 Posted yesterday at 21:16 I think there's enough in the Saints side to avoid relegation but we're never going to get near the play-offs. 1

Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 21:17 Posted yesterday at 21:17 I reckon lucky popes might be a thing, so let’s get the ball rolling with Julius II and see how the second half goes. 1 1

benali-shorts Posted yesterday at 21:18 Posted yesterday at 21:18 Just now, Saint NL said: He's not on the banch, so we'll have to make do with 46 year old former footballer, Joe Aribo, instead Shit. Is Keith Cassells on the bench? He’ll do.
pingpong Posted yesterday at 21:18 Posted yesterday at 21:18 Decent enough, We've had good chances, commentators pretty spot on, Brum had short spells at start and end of the half, but saints dominating the bulk of the game. Leo to come on and cause havoc.
Convict Colony Posted yesterday at 21:18 Posted yesterday at 21:18 Does anyone know what Tonda's tactics/formation were in u21 ? am trying to see if he is playing different

Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 21:20 Posted yesterday at 21:20 Should have sent Baz up for that corner.
obelisk Posted yesterday at 21:21 Posted yesterday at 21:21 Stupid fannying around at the back gets Jander a yellow card. 2
Saint Fan CaM Posted yesterday at 21:21 Posted yesterday at 21:21 And then THB completely fucks up at the back

DG Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Fuck the entire defensive unit. Leave them in Brum. 4
OttawaSaint Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 What exactly does Jack Stephens bring to this team. Why is he in the squad let alone on the field. It's just so utterly confusing. 6
Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Fuck me, how many chances to clear that?! 1
obelisk Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Brum score after another defensive shambles. Brum have a keeper but Saints have Baz. 1
Edmonton Saint Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Stephens with the give away, Jander gets booked. Birmingham score… 1
AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Recycling possession in defence, gives away a free kick and there we are 2
benali-shorts Posted yesterday at 21:22 Posted yesterday at 21:22 Definitely, definitely, definitely not Bazunu’s fault. He definitely didn’t jump like a man encased in lead. 1 1
sandwichsaint Posted yesterday at 21:23 Posted yesterday at 21:23 Head tennis, another trophy we will never win.
stknowle Posted yesterday at 21:23 Posted yesterday at 21:23 He shoulda done better there, shouldn’t he? 1
