Holmes_and_Watson Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As @obelisk said, one team playing with a desire to get forward at every opportunity. We prefer to draw them in to create spaces to pass through. As Birmingham get forward, we've been unable to use the space they leave. When we try to draw them in, we regularly fail to get it past them to our forwards. We end up playing too deep, too slowly and with a lack of conviction. Fellows is being well shackled, and they know we have no Leo. That's about it for us. Robinson has had a couple of bright runs. The one he set up that ended up as an Azaz shot. A second he took the shot himself. Fine, but AA was standing centrally in space. I'd have fancied him to score it. We could have done worse than get it to Robinson as we do with Leo. Much rawer, but would have pushed them back, and given Azaz and AA more options. Possibly even free up Fellows a bit. Hopefully, this will be a second half where we're stronger for a change. We'll need to be. 1
benali-shorts Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Maybe 73 year old former footballer Ori Romeu can turn this all around 2
obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think there's enough in the Saints side to avoid relegation but we're never going to get near the play-offs. 1

Lighthouse Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I reckon lucky popes might be a thing, so let’s get the ball rolling with Julius II and see how the second half goes. 1 1

saintant Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We've all seen this movie many times. 1-0 to Brum at full time.
Saint NL Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 1 minute ago, benali-shorts said: Maybe 73 year old former footballer Ori Romeu can turn this all around He's not on the banch, so we'll have to make do with 46 year old former footballer, Joe Aribo, instead

pingpong Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Decent enough, We've had good chances, commentators pretty spot on, Brum had short spells at start and end of the half, but saints dominating the bulk of the game. Leo to come on and cause havoc.
Convict Colony Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Does anyone know what Tonda's tactics/formation were in u21 ? am trying to see if he is playing different

obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Stupid fannying around at the back gets Jander a yellow card. 2
SaintNate Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Fucking dog shit. Can't win a header with 3 cb's on the pitch. 2
OttawaSaint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What exactly does Jack Stephens bring to this team. Why is he in the squad let alone on the field. It's just so utterly confusing. 6
obelisk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Brum score after another defensive shambles. Brum have a keeper but Saints have Baz. 1
Edmonton Saint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Stephens with the give away, Jander gets booked. Birmingham score… 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Recycling possession in defence, gives away a free kick and there we are 2
benali-shorts Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Definitely, definitely, definitely not Bazunu’s fault. He definitely didn’t jump like a man encased in lead. 1 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago And there it is…utterly shite defensive display. Just powder puff shite. 1
