Steve Ogrizovic was on co-comms for BBC Coventry, and was pretty fair-minded I thought; night and day from the wurzels commentating on the Baggies. He reckoned that was 'Championship Save of the Season'

The Manager got his tactics spot on today. Coventry took about 25 mins to come to terms with our set up, we came out positively after half time, got our noses in front, defended properly, pinched a second and then hung on determinedly at the end. Perfect away performance. All without our best striker and our best player. 
 

Keeper, superb save, and a clam and determined presence in the side. Tough game for Bree but he played their dangerous winger extremely well. The centre halves were excellent, as was Manning. Everybody did their job, even Archer didn’t look completely useless today.

Added bonus was no booking for THB, Downes or Bree.

champions elect, I guess. They have had a tough old time, so dont mind if they get promoted. It could have been us if SISU had acquired us. Thankfully it didnt happen.

He's a fuckin twat. On Sky saying the two challenges by Downes and Matsuki would have been reds as per VAR. Then says didn't see the Ellis elbow on Manning. He could be right on the VAR point, but don't label your own team as angels.

Manager get a lot of praise for that, short of a start player and changed it and played really well.

Also Larin I think does well, he holds the cleared balls up and brings players into play, without him today most of those clearances come straight back at us. Yes he has deficiencies but loads better than I expected.

Don’t be a fucking nod. The interviewer was trying to get a reaction, he didn’t say anything any manager wouldn’t have said. Had those 2 incident been on our players, you’d be the first whining about it…

More reason to enjoy not having var, when accidentally standing on someone might be a red.

So was that the last game for bookings resulting in a 2 game ban?

Couldn’t fault anyone today, even Archer did well when he came on. Top,top performance 😇

What a result! Only caught the last four minutes of extra time but saw our goals in the after-match report - did we deserve it?
Cameron Archer on the pitch? Looked like Peretz won us our points - what's it like having a goalkeeper eh!

Can’t argue with this, actually thought Lampard came across quite well in the interview, had praise for us and the way we play. Mentioned that if we had VAR in the championship it would have taken a look at the fouls by us and dealt with them, for balance he said the same about the elbow by one of theirs. Also made the fair point that at least with no VAR you can actually celebrate a goal and enjoy it.

Absolutely magnificent away performance from us today 😊 tactical masterclass from Tonda 😊 the whole team was outstanding today. Downes my MOTM - he was immense and topped it off with a lovely followed up finish 😊 Matsuki too with his goal 😊 Peretz - world class save in the first half to enable us to go on and win the game 😊 Jack and THB absolutely class 😊 COYR 😊

Fucking excellent away performance. The frustration for me is where the hell was that intensity and commitment on Wednesday? Today’s result makes that less relevant, but what a difference. 
 

Thought the ref gave us more than our share of 50/50s in the first half but not nearly as biased as Fat Frank will have you believe. 
 

Peretz MOTM. Who’d have known a goalkeeper who can actually keep the ball out of the net and organise a back 4 was so crucial to winning football games

Yes we did. Tonda set us up to play 4-3-3. Downes, Bragg, and Jander bossed it. THB and Stevo played well. Bree was outstanding in defence and a calm head when needed playing out. Azaz with a forward line leadership performance. Larin played his role well and would have scored the first without a fingertip save which Downes turned in off the post. Matsuki with some clever play and crucial through ball for our first. Manning put in some good crossed and defended much better than he usually does. Peretz with a MoM performance and arguably save of the season.

Best game of the season?   We were good all over the pitch, and won a lot of second balls .

Lampard looked typically miffed, but not sure what he had to complain about - they had 20 shots

(to our 8 ) and were lucky to be awarded a rather soft penalty.

Good to see Downes and Matsumi scoring goals, they really are improving, but Peretz was MoM for me.

Good week ahead.  We have 2 home games .whilst Wrexham have 2 away games..COYR

Didn't get to see the match today but sounds like a great away performance, particularly given it was without 2 key players in Scienza and Stewart. Well done Tonda and the boys! 

4 points from the 2 away games this week now looking a good return keeping us well in the mix with 2 home games to come 👍

Great performance, great result. Every player played their part today. Peretz, Downes, Bree & the CBs outstanding, but every player worked their socks off. Love days like this 😇

He was unlucky, but definitely a pen. There was no push and just think he caught the back of the ankle, probably didn't really need to get so close, but in the end it didn't matter.

Hats off to everyone at the club three away games in 7 days getting a Cup WF at home and 4/6 points in the league and beating the leaders with a superb performance! We really have got the spirit of the Saints back
