Willo of Whiteley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago More nervy now, I just hope we beat them. Sick to death of the Hollywood circus.

Just can't see them dropping enough points even if we win all our remaining games, sadly. 3rd is the absolute best we can hope for now. 3

BARCELONASAINT Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Interesting leaving Scienza on the bench. If he is fit it makes little sense, he is by far the one player who creates chances and scares the shit out off the opposition. Not convinced by Edozie.

TheSoundman Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Leaving the two players he doesn't want to get damaged on the bench. If we need them for the last 30 they'll be on. 5
Midfield_General Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Well, they will be absolutely delighted to see both Scienza and Fellows on the bench. That's a huge boost for them. Need Edozie and Matsuki to step up and show they can cause just as many problems against a side whose own fans say they have a real weakness against tricky wingers. for_heaven's_Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago After the Fulham game, Scienza played v West Brom and got injured in the first half. Happy to protect him if it means he can play on Saturday. 5

saintstowin Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Interesting approach. If we weren't expecting it I doubt they were. I hope the ones starting can step up. They can definitely do that. May be more attritional than first thought if Scienza and Fellows had played from the start. Edited 2 hours ago by saintstowin
davefizzy14 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 2-0 to us tonight - Larin and Scienza to score 😊 COYR 😊 1
Golac's Cunning Stunts Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wrexham can be strong 2nd half so bunging on scienza fellows and LND may give them something to think about

whelk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Interesting that now we all trust the manager. If that team selection was from 10 or so games ago I’d imagine lots of wailing and calls of clueless. 7

SNSUN Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago As a fan I'm nervous. Win and we are in a strong position to at least get 5th plus it cuts off everyone below Derby most likely from contention. Draw and we're probably in a 2 way battle with Wrexham for 6th. Lose and it will be very tough. Possibly a last day of the season situation. I'm sure the players know what is required but tonight is massive for our season. 4
St. Ciervo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Win this and we can safely ride into the playoffs and watch that stupid documentary with pure elation.
SaintsRoyalty Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hope some of you are ok with Shea Charles playing ahead of Cameron Blagg. 2

Maggie May Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I fear we’ll put in a sluggish performance like we did against WBA. We have to be up for this one. I sense a Wrexham win.

Barton Saint Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago All the three subbed Saturday night rested and both Tom and Caspar played 90 minutes so a predictable line up I would say 1

If that team selection was from 10 or so games ago I’d imagine lots of wailing and calls of clueless. Is that not how it normally works? Tonda has built up that trust over time, by making desicions along the way that not everybody agreed with, but has proven to be good desicions in hindsight? It's perfectly normal that we now give him the benefit of the doubt. If we lose tonight, there will be enough of us saying he fucked up the starting lineup afterwards 😉
Cuddles Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We've been rotating successfully for several weeks now, such is the confidence and quality of our players. Fingers crossed Tonda pulls it off again 😇
Wade Garrett Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Probably be 4-2-3-1, but it could be an extra midfielder in as Eckert did v Coventry. We’re playing against a load of fucking sheepshaggers owned by a couple of poncy American chancers. We’re going to fucking smash them. 1
Wooley07 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I might be going against the grain but I am happy with the team. I was thinking through my team for tonight and had the same team only playing Fellows. All the players coming in have been decent at times this season and are fresh. Some of those who started Saturday need rest or protecting (Leo & Ross). Matsuki has not let us down and has had some good moments. I just felt Fellows has struggled this season and not played that much lately so is relatively fresh. He had his best game in a Saints shirt on Saturday so I would have started him tonight. Larin and Stephens were always going to come in, both have been good of late. I have felt Edozie has done well from the bench and thought he would have started against Arsenal. Tonight is his chance to impress. I saw an interview where he said he has been happy back at Saints and hoping he gets a chance to help the team toward the end of the season. Downes was always going to come back in for Bragg, you could make the same argument for Bragg playing here as I have for Fellows. Charles has been good last few games, deserves a start and I’m happy to rotate all 4 midfielders. We have so many games coming up that we will see changes from game to game. There are 20/21 players that can be trusted to play and that strength could be what helps us over the line. 1

Chez Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Team selection makes sense. You want your best side for every game, but he is obviously protecting Scienza who has only just come back from injury and not overplaying Stewart. Gonna be a tough game. 1
