Nah, we can forget about that. Ipswich will still have a game in hand on us and a vastly superior GD. Just can't see them dropping enough points even if we win all our remaining games, sadly. 3rd is the absolute best we can hope for now.

Interesting leaving Scienza on the bench. If he is fit it makes little sense, he is by far the one player who creates chances and scares the shit out off the opposition. Not convinced by Edozie.

Well, they will be absolutely delighted to see both Scienza and Fellows on the bench. That's a huge boost for them.

Need Edozie and Matsuki to step up and show they can cause just as many problems against a side whose own fans say they have a real weakness against tricky wingers.

All three top attacking players on bench ! What is the plan?

Go for a draw and a win on Saturday

If Sky Sports Plus - does that mean that its the god awful comms where they're not actually in the ground?

Turn the TV sound down and listen on the radio.

Interesting approach. If we weren't expecting it I doubt they were.

I hope the ones starting can step up. They can definitely do that.

May be more attritional than first thought if Scienza and Fellows had played from the start.

He has only just returned from injury. It is a sport science decision.

Interesting that now we all trust the manager. If that team selection was from 10 or so games ago I’d imagine lots of wailing and calls of clueless.

As a fan I'm nervous. Win and we are in a strong position to at least get 5th plus it cuts off everyone below Derby most likely from contention. Draw and we're probably in a 2 way battle with Wrexham for 6th. Lose and it will be very tough. Possibly a last day of the season situation. I'm sure the players know what is required but tonight is massive for our season.

Hope some of you are ok with Shea Charles playing ahead of Cameron Blagg.

As someone else commented, Im quite happy to trust the manager.  Fuck me, what a refreshing change.

I fear we’ll put in a sluggish performance like we did against WBA.

Hence the 6 changes.

Of course you do.

Is that not how it normally works? Tonda has built up that trust over time, by making desicions along the way that not everybody agreed with, but has proven to be good desicions in hindsight? It's perfectly normal that we now give him the benefit of the doubt.

If we lose tonight, there will be enough of us saying he fucked up the starting lineup afterwards 😉

We've been rotating successfully for several weeks now, such is the confidence and quality of our players. Fingers crossed Tonda pulls it off again 😇

Probably be 4-2-3-1, but it could be an extra midfielder in as Eckert did v Coventry.

We’re playing against a load of fucking sheepshaggers owned by a couple of poncy American chancers.  We’re going to fucking smash them.

I might be going against the grain but I am happy with the team. I was thinking through my team for tonight and had the same team only playing Fellows.

All the players coming in have been decent at times this season and are fresh. Some of those who started Saturday need rest or protecting (Leo & Ross).

Matsuki has not let us down and has had some good moments. I just felt Fellows has struggled this season and not played that much lately so is relatively fresh. He had his best game in a Saints shirt on Saturday so I would have started him tonight.

Larin and Stephens were always going to come in, both have been good of late. I have felt Edozie has done well from the bench and thought he would have started against Arsenal. Tonight is his chance to impress. I saw an interview where he said he has been happy back at Saints and hoping he gets a chance to help the team toward the end of the season.

Downes was always going to come back in for Bragg, you could make the same argument for Bragg playing here as I have for Fellows. Charles has been good last few games, deserves a start and I’m happy to rotate all 4 midfielders.

We have so many games coming up that we will see changes from game to game. There are 20/21 players that can be trusted to play and that strength could be what helps us over the line.

If we win every match we will finish above Ipswich.

Team selection makes sense. You want your best side for every game, but he is obviously protecting Scienza who has only just come back from injury and not overplaying Stewart.  Gonna be a tough game.

I’d take a point right now if offered one.

I would too. We have been great in recent weeks, but we have ridden our luck a little too, so I don't see us as unbeatable despite what the results suggest. Excited.
