Good luck with the radiotherapy.  I hope it works our well for you.  Had my prostate whipped out in January.  Had my second post op PSA result today and it was all clear.  Sort of put this football bollocks into perspective somewhat.

They had several months to find a replacement for Martin Semmens.  But as weve seen from Sport Republic its been a total disaster and it looks like fans have finally had enough.

Thanks for all your good wishes. I've been on the hormone jab now four four months and my PSA is down to 0.42 which is almost negligible. It's amazing that a pellet the size of a grain of rice every three months can change your life. I advise anyone of advancing years to get their PSA checked. That way we might all still be around for the next time we're in the Premier League.

I (like many others) had absolutely no symptoms.  Just had a PSA test as an after thought after a separate illness saw me blackout on a aircraft.  Turns out it was a particularly aggressive type of prostate cancer and it was caught just in time before it spread. If you're over 50 and haven't had a psa test yet, give your GP a call and get it booked in.
