Great result. When are big players are firing we can beat anyone. Glad to hear Schlotterbeck had a good game, good feeling about him.

Great to see Fellows being sent up to do the fist pump with the fans - really pleased he's got that monkey off his back.

After a shocking first 15 mins or so, that was an absolute joy to watch.

Great debut from Keven, two very good goals for Cyle, Azaz looking at his unplayable best. So much to like about that performance.

Didn't think we'd be above West Ham & Burnley after 3 games. With the best GD in the division too!
Millwall hadnt conceded before today, good day at the office 👍

Signs the togetherness is coming back. Lovely to see Scienza sprinting off the subs bench to congratulate Fellows and the interplay between Azaz and Scienza when Azaz scored.

Judge us at the end of October. So the jury is “well and truly out” now but 7 days from now we will have all the evidence and the jury will be fully decided. What utter tripe. Good job you’re not running this club.

Super Saints.

Magnificent from about 20 mins in.

Absolutely top, top performance.

I have a feeling that, "we're back".

Well. That was rubbish wasn’t it.

Norwich smashed Burnley too so a happy household here. Well apart from my 8 year old who claims she's a Liverpool fan. I'm looking into adoption.

Onto positive points!

Out of the relegation zone!

I saw from 50 mins. We were sharper and had more fight in us than Millwall.

That only continued, buoyed by Tonda's trademark subs, giving players a rest and using our good squad depth.

Nice to see Fellows get his goal. Having the balance of a wider player with a more direct one is something I've liked since Tella got games just before JWP's departure.

Azaz and Matsuki interchanged well, and there was enjoyment within the team. Having a proper, fit centre forward in Larin goes a long way in making everything tick.

Front 4 looked very dangerous today. Defence shaky in the first half but solid in the second.

Get a CB to replace THB and another forward and we'll be looking pretty good I think.

I meant the players we sign when the window has closed,  you utter knob.

See that you had to edit your message. You spell “knob” wrongly RedWillie? How appropriate.

Happy to go early here but the manager who handed us our most embarrassing moment in this clubs history should have been sacked. Absolutely clueless.

What an embarrassing, clueless comment.

Thought a midfield of Bragg and Ward Prowse was going to get bullied?

People forget that JWP got a bit of an edge about him the last couple of years with us. He's not a kid anymore.

We were magnificent after going 0-1 down. Kevan looked really good, exactly the sort of defender that will do brilliantly in the league.

And in Larin, we have the best striker in the league.

He used to be good at the shithousery so I hope he still has that in his locker. Got the better of Zaha a few times.

Come on SaintsWeb. Find the cloud in that silver lining.

We still don't have Dyson hand dryers in the bogs? 😜

Great result.

Couldn't help noticing that as soon as Stephens came on they had a few shots on goal. Hmm.

Good to see Ward Prowse back and the new CB looks good. Taylor Harwood who?

I don’t really identify with the club and our style of play. It’s not the Southampton way.

With the manager, Jander, Spors and the new centre back; I think we’re becoming a bit too German.

Great result, second half very impressive. Could have looked different had Lisbie not put on his concrete toblerone slippers, but nonetheless a very good win.

Hope Flynn’s injury is just superficial. Prob would have betted on JwP coming on for Bragg who had a bit of a mare. But, fair play to the lad, he looked much better second half.

JWP looked as you’d expect, tidy and willing. Think he’ll be a really good asset, he’s very much a pass and move to get the ball again player so might help us quicken things up going forward.

Azaz looks like he glides when he’s on this form. And after a risible first 15 from Leo he massively sparked into life and gave Millwall all sorts of bother.

Same with Schlotterbeck really. In the first 15 minutes he had a couple of wobbly moments, and was a bit sloppy with giving the goal away. But after that, gave their strikers a rough ride and stood up to the physical side of things. Same for Wood, he seemed to relish the battle.

Well done Saints, put it together over 90 minutes and we’ll be purring along.

Got to say, JWP showed already that he has more about him than Oriol did.

Looked sharp. Kept showing for it and ticking it over. Still think we need a DM but very very promising

Well, after reading here for the first 15 minutes then back to my kitchen electrics I've just come back in and it appears we won!

Judging by the depressives in the chat it was a lost season already!

Harwood-Bellis and Schlotterbeck must be one of the longest CB name pairings in the League. Put Roerslev in for Bree, bring Welington in for Manning and Sky will need a bigger team sheet for live games.
