whelk Posted September 1 Posted September 1 How the fuck is Birmingham’s xG 0.79 when they should be 4-0 up? And why isn’t ours at 0.00? 1
Hawkswood Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Just now, saintant said: Not sure about 3-0 down 🙂 Maybe I'm watching a different game. Nah agreed. They've missed two sitters but I think we've been in control for the most part. Both their big chances came from our mistakes. 1

Baird of the land Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Definitely A handy time to score. been a even contest. still not a fan of our midfield.
kjurwi Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Not to impressed by our wingers today. Not terrible, but not great. All their attacks has come from our left flank. Manning hasn't been great either.

AlexLaw76 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Their RB has played Leo pretty well, but now he is on a Yellow we should see what he is all about 1

WinglessWonder Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Big Kev is a bit handy with his head isn't he? Hopefully he can chip in with a similar amount of goals as THB would've. 2

Hopper Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Need a bit more composure. Scienza needs to keep his width he's dropping deep and narrow and getting lost/caught in posession a lot. On the whole we're fine, second goal will calm the nerves. Kind of game that is calling out for JWP to impose a measure of control in midfield. 2

They could have gone 3-0 up with decent finishing, they were all over us after the Schlotterbeck dodgy back pass 2

That header, the dodgy back pass where they hit the post, there was another chance straight after too, they absolute could have been 3-0 up on another day Edited September 1 by bpsaint
Patches O Houlihan Posted September 1 Posted September 1 They have used way more energy than we have up to this point. If our subs play well we should be able to take it away from them 2

The second halves always seem better. Love the better feeling this leaves over the capitulations we had under Ralph. Even if you lose, you can still finish strongly and feel aggrieved rather then feel hopeless after blowing it. Edited September 1 by Colinjb 1

Mr X Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Brum will definitely score imo so one goal won't be enough 🤞
Saint Matty 76 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Great header too but Schlotterbeck’s passing is exactly what we needed.
SNSUN Posted September 1 Posted September 1 I can't put my finger on it but there's something that makes me feel comfortable about having JWP on the bench. I still believe for the price that he is a smart bit of business but then I was one of those that liked him before he left. This feels different to the Lallana/Walcott/Romeu signings, like he has more to offer yet. 1
Sheaf Saint Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Amazing insight from Tessem: "If you get your shots on target then you've got a better chance of scoring". Really Jo? That's blown my mind that has! Who knew?

trousers Posted September 1 Posted September 1 5 more goals for West Ham and they overtake us on goal difference...

I was underwhelmed about getting him back, and whilst I'd prefer an option with more muscle/height, I've warmed to it and think he'll bring a lot to the squad and team this season. 1
