Previous managers have apparently had something similar to a six month salary clause upon being sacked, so £600k for Martin. Not too mad a figure if Rangers did want to get rid.

So to summarise everything going great in training but when it comes to match day the players are scared into playing badly due to the atmosphere being created by the fans.

We had fans literally willing his stay well into last season, and blaming everyone else bar him. 

Adam Blackmoore, as an example, was incredibly soft on him on a professional level. 

What was more alarming that the club did not ditch him primarily on football reasons, and the great Dragan Solak is adamant he will be a very good manager at the top level.

It was so bleeding obvious to most sane football fans that his brand of football would get destroyed in the premier league without the world's best 11 to call upon. He came 4th in a 3 horse race ffs
