Chose to watch the women’s rugby instead. At least you see some honest effort from them.

But two things, why use Brighton’s  Lego stadium rather than St Mary’s? Also, the women commentator is as bad for rugby as football.

Tuchel is the worst appointment in my lifetime. Didn’t see the game but Andorra population less than 90 fucking thousand. Sacked in his last two jobs for failing and wants Henderson and Rashford in the team.

I think Tuchel gets sacked for falling out with his bosses. It’ll happen with the FA, or he’ll walk away after not winning the WC.

I'm confident that a Fat Sam or McLaren team would have put on a better performance than every side that Tuchel has put out.

Most of  the football was a disgrace that's for sure. The usual slow pace, side to side passing and lack of movement which is never going to break down a team set up to defend. Clumsy Dan Burns saw far too much of the ball.

Yeah it was a publicity stunt by Dorking , never had any intention of playing the fan in the match

Only watched the last 25 minutes of the German game. I'm assuming Charles had run himself to a standstill in the previous 65 minutes because he was a passenger for the part of the match I watched. Invisible would be being kind. Must have done something in the first half and into the second half because he stayed on for the whole game.

I had the first half of that on in the background, Charles was pretty good I thought, he did run a lot, got stuck in, good passes, good positioning. Pleasing to see from a Saints perspective.

Yeah, I guessed he must have been more effective in the first half. Slightly concerning that he dropped off so much in the last 25 minutes - maybe Germany scoring two quick goals knocked the stuffing out of him and the rest of the team.

Damian Downs did not get off the bench in usas recent dismal 2-0 defeat to South Korea. He IS likely to start or play a decent part of the match tomorrow v Japan. That will be worth watching. 
Quarshie only played a half for Germany u21’s v Albania away other day but from highlights he looked like he was central of a back 3 or at the least he seemed to touch the ball a lot and well - more than I’ve seen as a more advanced CB. He looks the part I must say. Liverpool just bought Leon  who is 18 and also 6ft4 and I think there’s an evident euro movement in coach thinking towards BIG CB’s - long throws- long balls happening / in which case we may have caught the zeitgeist early for once in capturing this lad! Tuchel saying that’s how England should look to play says a lot!
