There are no good things. This was horrible. Horrible formation, horrible mistakes, horrible goal keeping The system is a fucking joke, as it has been most of the season. A fucking joke, we conceded 20 chances!!! Too may players out of position, those in position are not particularly comfortable (CBs being pulled wide all of time). CM being wide open, with huge gaps between most of the team and the CBs. We got away with it due to individual brilliance, as there was almost nothing from patterns of play to suggest we were anything near average. Oh, Bazunu should never play again. But other than that.. are you happy? 1 12

Jack Posted yesterday at 21:47 Posted yesterday at 21:47 Fucking dreadful really. Smash and grab, Bazunu doing his best to give away more points. Hope Spors doesn’t start getting any more stupid ideas off the back of this 1
Harry_SFC Posted yesterday at 21:47 Posted yesterday at 21:47 Terrible, terrible performance. Saved by a moment of unbelievable skill from Scienza. 7

Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 21:48 Author Posted yesterday at 21:48 Clearly a team very low on confidence and cohesion but they dug deep and saw it out, so fair play to them for that. It's about as good as you can hope for with an interim manager in charge and should keep us within reach of the playoffs by the time the new bloke is appointed. My main worry is that Leo's injury will keep him out for a while. Why aren't we allowed to have nice things? 7
Miltonaggro Posted yesterday at 21:49 Posted yesterday at 21:49 A thankfully narrow panicky win for zwieback - a German rusk…

HarvSFC Posted yesterday at 21:51 Posted yesterday at 21:51 Win was important for the bigger picture, but if that was an audition for the full time position from Eckert then it was shite. But, yeah, hopefully a competent manager is looking at this and seeing there is something to work with, especially if we get another three points against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, which we should do considering they are the 2025 version of our 08-09 squad. Our strength is in the wide attackers, get them on the ball more and quickly in space and give them the freedom to attack and not against defences that have already set up because we're too slow. But, like Sheffield United tonight needed a wonder goal to win the match and we were very much backs against the walls for the last 15 minutes. 1
The Kraken Posted yesterday at 21:51 Posted yesterday at 21:51 6 minutes ago, woodsaint1 said: Pathetic performance. On the plus side, hopefully that means Eckart wont get the job Just the opposite I imagine. 3 points against the Wendys and it’s his. 2
Osvaldorama Posted yesterday at 21:51 Posted yesterday at 21:51 Harrowing, harrowing performance from a harrowing, harrowing club. Bazunu & Downs are honestly 2 of the worst players in their positions to ever play for us, at any level. Absolutely atrocious. How the fuck did we win that 😂 9
CB Fry Posted yesterday at 21:52 Posted yesterday at 21:52 The two wins we've had since the opening day were thanks to wonder goals. 1
washsaint Posted yesterday at 21:52 Posted yesterday at 21:52 What a bunch of utterly miserable t**ts on here. Saints have forgotten how to win so they were always going to make it difficut for themselves. They showed more spirit tonight than they have done for a very long time and put their bodies on the line and didn't crumble. Hopefully that will give them some confidence. Yes Bazunu made a howler for their goal but his save at the end and his catches helped us kill the game off. Fellows and Azaz were absolutely dreadful (again) and Manning is terrible. 3 points and hopefully some confidence going into the Wednesday game 6 4

Stowmarket Saint Posted yesterday at 21:55 Posted yesterday at 21:55 (edited) A win is a win. And by God we needed those 3 points! Some of those players that are out there are "running" around with seemingly not a care in the world. No pressing from the forwards, who then retreat into the mass of disorganised players on the edge of the box, almost physically trying to hide in the crowd! Then when the ball gets cleared they amble to close the opposition down, who then proceed to continue to hump balls into the area. It really is Sunday league stuff at times. I could go on but just like some of the players on the pitch I can't be bothered. Glad Leo got his goal though, he really is the one only shining light at the moment, so it's fitting he got the goal to secure the much needed 3 points! At least he looks like he gives a f*ck. pingpong Posted yesterday at 21:57 Posted yesterday at 21:57 Another 3pts from bazunu, that's 9 so far this season with him in goal, higher return than with calamity McCarthy. 1 12
Patrick Bateman Posted yesterday at 21:57 Posted yesterday at 21:57 Not really sure what to say. A win is a win. Bazunu should NEVER be in the first 11 ever again - bloody awful goalkeeper, we won in spite of him. Something to build on in terms of winning confidence, but that was so bad. 1

Fellows and Azaz were absolutely dreadful (again) and Manning is terrible. 3 points and hopefully some confidence going into the Wednesday game If that was against, I don't know, Man City or Chelsea yep I'd buy that. But that was against a fucking horrific QPR side. That final 15 mins, as well as the first 45, was as bad as I've seen. They didn't show any spirit, they shrunk into their shells for the final 15 mins and panic panic like shit. They got over the line through luck and a Leo worldie, not because of any fricking spirit. Bazunu was lucky he didn't kill us the game. That 'save' he made is irrelevant because of the goals he lets in. He dropped one to almost make it 2-2, and then dallied on the ball and gave away a stupid final corner. That last 15min collapse was borne from Bazunu doing Bazunu things, and it's why he should not be playing. 7
