Wolves fans must be fuming thinking Arma or Adams is the answer to their problems 😂

CB Fry Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago The bullshit we are being softened up for is that we don't sell Armstrong in the end and then that is spun that we didn't need to sign a new striker after all because look we kept Armstrong aren't we clever. 6

Absolutely how I'm seeing it as well, sadly. We'll see...but I've seen this movie a thousand times at this club. 2
S-Clarke Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Ademola Lookman is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid. The final details of a deal to sign him from Atalanta are being sorted and he is waiting to travel for a medical. A fee of £30m (€35m) plus £4.3m (€5m) in add-ons has been agreed in principle between the clubs. This guy is another of those footballing transfer anomalies, like Joao Felix, Morta etc. They keep getting moves to big clubs for huge dollar every time, yet never really do anything, then warrant another huge transfer fee. Lookman has been a bit part at Atalanta this season. 3

Wolves will be that beautiful combination of flush and desperate. We should absolutely take them to the cleaners, it's not like they've got any options. £20m for Armstrong or no deal and you can try and stay in the Prem relying on Tolu Arokodare and Hwang Hee Chan. HarvSFC Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Wolves selling Strand Larsen for big money and replacing him with Armstrong for a fraction of the fee is like us selling Ings and replacing him with Armstrong. 1 3

HarvSFC Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Should've been sold the summer we got promoted, leaving on a high when his stock was at its highest, rather than being rewarded with a new contract. We know Armstrong will never be a Premier League striker, we have to look for better and there is better out there. The issue lies with can SR identify it? As due to his goal output we can't get this one wrong. We definitely can't go for another hopeful punt here.
disconnect Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Knowing Wolves are getting near £50 mill and we’re going to accept less than £10 mill for Armstrong? Seems a bit weird and thought we’d sell him for a bit more 1
Pamplemousse Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Not against selling Armstrong but not bringing in a replacement is ludicrous. Assuming Archer is off as well, we can't be relying on Stewart and then youngsters! 2
tdmickey3 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Are we doing anything but try and sell? Guess we don’t need a striker now that Stewart is “fit”
SWLondon Saint Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 2 minutes ago, sadoldgit said: Wolves are preparing for life in our division. Yeah, I mean it's obvious this is their plan, he's had little to no impact in the PL ever. I'd say around £10 mill is fair enough for both sides, just the question as always is whether we replace him with anyone decent or Downs MK2...

Matthew Le God Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) 26 minutes ago, S-Clarke said: If they try and bundle in any add-ons for 'surviving relegation', then we've had our pants pulled down. The article words it as "£2m of achievable add-ons". Wolves staying up isn't really achievable. They will be a Championship club next season. So the £2m will probably be for appearances & goals. Both of which are achievable for him in the Championship. Edited 9 hours ago by Matthew Le God
EBS1980 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago For forwards if Arma is a sale we need to buy a replacement of Archer is a loan I’ll happily take a loan in too. we need 3 forwards though, another taller guy and maybe someone who offers something different. if we only get one in thst it’s a very dangerous game, Stewart can’t play every game and the youngster yesterday looked a bit lost and not ready for first team.
