Sheaf Saint Posted yesterday at 13:30 Posted yesterday at 13:30 (edited) It's clear what we are missing now with Fellows injured. In recent games we have been using a repeated tactic of passing it around along the back line, out to THB on the right, and then Fellows comes infield and we hit the low pass into the centre for him to turn and run forward. Been doing it loads and it's worked well and resulted in goals. We just don't have that option today, but the rest of the team still keep passing it to THB in the expectation that he can still do the same thing with it, which he can't. So we end up passing it to Fraser, who just knocks it back again under pressure and we struggle like hell to get out, because the formation means we have so little midfield presence. I really, really wish that we could just drop this fucking 3 CBs nonsense. Edited yesterday at 13:32 by Sheaf Saint 6

Convict Colony Posted yesterday at 13:31 Posted yesterday at 13:31 Guys i think you have forgotten how shit we were for 12 games, we havent been that bad, hit cross bar, missed pen and some other close calls. Concern is our right i would swap fraser with robinson as my first sub. 6

So many on here acting like entitled children. We're not going to crush teams every week. Some of our one touch football has been sublime and the passing at the back led to the missed penalty. Such an enjoyable side to watch under Tonda.....we really are the entertainers and its like watching a Chris Nicholl side. It does mean we'll typically need several goals a game to win mind. 1

Ryan Fraser legs have gone, he can’t take people on any more. Its another player who did ok under RM championship but needs to drop down a division.

It aopears you are confusing it for a different one

I'm not against having an extra midfielder, but you make it sound like we're all over the place, when we're really not. Dunno, we haven't conceded, but there was that clear chance their striker slashed wide and also he probably should have scored that cross on the ground that went through 2 defenders. It was Downs-esque, we'd all be furious if one of ours has missed it.

Toadhall Saint Posted yesterday at 13:33 Posted yesterday at 13:33 (edited) Fraid to say this has got 1-0 Norwich written all over it. You don’t score they will. Edited yesterday at 13:33 by Toadhall Saint

StrangelyBrown Posted yesterday at 13:34 Posted yesterday at 13:34 Some legacy Martinball on display today. All the usual suspects guilty. We desperately need to hook Frazer and the sooner we work out how to play without 3 at the back and drop that useless helmet Stephens the better. 1

Sheaf Saint Posted yesterday at 13:35 Posted yesterday at 13:35 Straight away given away by Fraser because he's so scared to try and get forward with the ball.

BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 13:36 Posted yesterday at 13:36 We're there for the taking. They know it. 1
obelisk Posted yesterday at 13:36 Posted yesterday at 13:36 Another unchallenged cross into the box and it's 1-0.

Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 13:36 Posted yesterday at 13:36 Norwich are putting a bit of muscle about under a referee that is doing his best to avoid giving anything. Out players are not physical. It’s been interesting to watch how much we struggle when we don’t have five seconds to control the ball. — Oh, and there is the goal. Pretends to be shocked.
sandwichsaint Posted yesterday at 13:36 Posted yesterday at 13:36 There you go, unopposed cross and three CBS nowhere to be seen 2
Sheaf Saint Posted yesterday at 13:37 Posted yesterday at 13:37 How the fuck did we not clear that first or second time? Awful defending, again. 1
Turkish Posted yesterday at 13:37 Posted yesterday at 13:37 No pressure on the cross and static defending piss poor
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 13:37 Posted yesterday at 13:37 Tonda, there is no benefit in having five defenders and two holding midfielders playing at 1-0 down. 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted yesterday at 13:38 Posted yesterday at 13:38 Twat Manning fails to clear the ball and they’re one up. Baz and our three CB’s nowhere to be seen. Defence is shit. 1

HarvSFC Posted yesterday at 13:38 Posted yesterday at 13:38 Player out on the right has all the time in the world to put the ball in and lay it on a plate for the striker. We've seen that before.

obelisk Posted yesterday at 13:39 Posted yesterday at 13:39 It's inevitable that we'll always concede at least one goal. Now let's see if Eckert has what it takes.
BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 13:39 Posted yesterday at 13:39 Tonda needs to make some changes. Hopefully not Aribo.
