I'm inexperienced for a football manager but I'd make a bloody change early if it's obviously going badly wrong.

Why do most managers wait until half time before making changes when it's obvious things aren't working? You can't imagine the likes of Mourinho or Guadiola not making any chances during that first half. Just so f***ing dogmatic and/or weak.

Life would be great if you could sub managers at half time

Just let the Saintsweb forum manage the team. Would probably do a better job. Actually might as let us run the club. Would probably do a better job.

The worry is that every goal we let in pushes Tonda closer and closer to a back 5 again !

That’s probably the change that this prick will make at half time. Get an extra defender on I expect to sure things up. Absolute cunt

Passing it around the back for the final minute... No drive. No heart. What happened to hungry eyes, Tonda?

Yeah, WTF was all that tippy tappy rubbish around the box whilst the clock ticked down? No interest at all to put it in the box - almost like the players didn't know what to do without a target man, funny that...

I'm not even watching it and I know that was the worst half of football all season.

Things can only get better.... right? 🤯

I wish I hadn’t been, watching it.

Tonda is fecking dogshit…. His body language is appalling.

It’s like having a supply teacher in at school. Nowhere near as good as the real teacher, with no control of the class.

But the kids love him because he’s a pushover.

Experienced manager in the summer please. No more experiments you tools SR.

Jander is having a mare but he's normally pretty good, I guess it can happen.

The fact he started Archer though is unforgivable.

I agree, he's usually fine but this has been a disgrace tonight.

Seems like a pretty good idea to me. With Peretz in goal, we'd only concede a goal every four games. It's just the scoring we'd have to figure out.

I doubt anyone on here would have picked Archer to lead the line. I was horrified when I saw that and knew we'd not compete. Didn't think it would be quite this bad though.

Tonda has got to change things up at half time. Not good enough.

Too late.

Would have happened already under a real manager not this school boy

Eckert should have changed this after 15 minutes. It was obvious by the second goal we were getting stuffed. Another fraud. Get him gone.

At least we've got six months to prepare for next season now.*

*Which we also had this time last year having only signed Gronbaek on loan in January and we still didn't do anything until late August and several matches into the season.

I say I guess it can happen.. a professional footballer at this level shouldn't be as bad as he has been tonight.

That goes for Archer as well. Even Fellows has been horrendous.

Absolute dire no cohesion or plan they are running the midfield.....

Jander not at the races should of been subbed earlier, could of also had a red card.

Archer is fucking shite and offers nothing.....

Where do we go from here? Stewart of Larin up top, Charles on?

If only someone could have predicted that starting Archer tonight was a mistake.

Oh, literally every one of us did as soon as we saw the starting lineup.

Seems the only person on this planet who couldn't see it was the one guy who actually picks the team.

And having seen a total disaster unfold in the pitch, he hasn't changed a single fucking thing.

Gross negligence/incompetence from Tonda.

Trying to imagine if there's ANY way back here.   Archer and Jander off for Stewart and Wood.  One goal back and then Leicester manage to do their usual and pick up a red card.....  C'mon universe.  Give us something?!!

You also know if we had Cortese at the helm he'd have another manager already lined up for tomorrow morning.

Tonda will get a new contract.

Did we just assume with Leicesters form and our recent narrow wins, that we could just turn up and cruise through and win at a canter? The entire club is so complacent that it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest that we’ve knowingly gone at this game with complete complacency and half arsed it. This club is “professional” in name only. So many aspects of it are the exact opposite of professional in the way it’s run. And this is why we will never be successful under this culture within this ownership. Complacency, arrogance, naivety, you name it- sets in at the earliest possible opportunity.

Has he been messing about with the team again?

Or is he just trying to manage his squad playing time?

The FA cup would be the time to manage the squad

I had a bad feeling about this game even before the teamsheet as I simply don't trust these players but my God the management does us no favours. 1 step forward, two steps back with this lot always. Sport Republic OUT! That's the bottom line of it. Nothing will change until these charlatans are gone.
