There's real quality there, just look at how the U21s are playing. Williams is knocking at the door, and like Sesay will no doubt grab any opportunity.

O'Brien Whitmarsh was highly fancied before his injury, so it will be good to see him on the pitch at some point.

Romeu better be up to speed, otherwise he needs showing the door.

For those thinking let’s give George Mong a chance, he’s played twice for the u21s and let in 6 goals. Thats against kids. The 9-0 could be on. 

Archer starting against the same team a week after that performance last week is scandalous and a spit in the face of the fans.

I'm not sure why some are getting worked up about us playing fringe players for this. We are 1 point away from the playoffs and as far as the club and finances are concerned the Premier League is the Holy Grail.

Can you imagine the fallout on here if we had played a first 11 and any of our better had got injured. It's just not worth the risk for a competition that we are unlikely to win.

Very obvious isn't it. We have reduced the squad, and have a clear idea of most of the starting 11. They cannot play every single game, and this was always going to happen.

Just hope it is not a draw

Nothing to buy into. Players are playing through injuries, and a couple needed scans. Tonda said in the week that Stewart should only have had 25-30 mins. It'd be madness to risk players for this match.

I can see Leicester getting revenge today. We have very little on the bench to change the game with if it’s going badly…

 

And to all the comments about ‘the league is more important than the FA cup’, when exactly can we take the cup seriously?!

Not last season - fighting the drop, not the season before - going for promotion, not the season before- fighting the drop etc etc etc

Should we just not bother entering? As only the top 6 can win it (but not last season…) should we not just make it top 8 in the prem, just to save wasted time…?

I used to love the FA cup 3rd round draw etc. it’s been totally buggered for TV and ruined just like football in general.
