OttawaSaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Great time to score and from a corner too. Am I hallucinating.

Saint NL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They gave us that one, but it should be the three points
AlexLaw76 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago HT, good first 10 and last 5 mins... Poor 30 mins in-between, but to be fair, the Wailing Wall had little to do. 1
Hopper Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Had to login just say I’m chuffed for Matsuki. Tireless worker and a well deserved goal! 3
Saint Pete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not really a deserved lead, but we have looked dangerous on the few occasions we have put it together. 1

SWLondon Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago No idea what their keeper is doing there but bloody great jump and header from Matsuki there, bosh! 1

bobby_charles Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Why do we give up the midfield all the time, jander has looked off it. Charles on him off rommie would of worked well here if he is fit 1

Yep. Let them have too much of the ball but they’ve done very little with it. No shots on target of any note. We’ve been sloppy between the goals but still looked more dangerous than them and created more. 1
obelisk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Well have to take that I suppose. It's what the score should have been at ht on Saturday. Now the question is whether Saints can score a third without conceding. 1
Micky Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Next goal is crucial, we get it, should be game over, they get it, game on. 1

Mr X Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hopefully we can kick on from the slice of luck now and not think two goals is enough..... Memo to saints it isn't! 1

austsaint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago How about the control and lay off skills of Larin in that first half. Quiet achiever in that first half. 7

Granted in most of these he was a late sub but I think he’s better than people give him credit. He reminds me of Stephen Davis. Tenacious and you don’t see a lot of what he does. He of course has also scored 2 goals unlike Fellows. Looks like I’ve been proved right again. Should be starting for us from now on. 1
Saint NL Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Larin did well to take their defender away for the second goal 👍 1

SNSUN Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Need a few scores to change to help us out tonight. Blackburn, Swansea and even the Skates could help us out. 1

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Great to see some players who can have some mixed games, get excellent moments. Scienza hasn't quite had his initial impact of late, and had a poor pass to Azaz when we were one up. But a lovely, well picked out corner for the second goal. Matsuki hasn't really got crosses in, and has been a bit muted running in from wide. But a great ghost in front of the keeper for his header. Azaz can look frustrating at times. But when in the right position, can put away excellent shots, like the first. We've patiently waited for opportunities. Sometimes, a bit too long. Manning, for one, was frustrated by the movement in front of him. But when we've moved through the midfield with our passing, we're a threat. Scienza's slow pass back to Azaz and THB hitting the post showed that. We've a strong bench tonight. So looking forward to their impact. Larin has been much more than a target, allowing others to get space. And a shout to Downes. When QPR had a break, he tracked back working out the passing angle to intercept. 2

Hawkswood Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 1 minute ago, capitalsaint said: To each their own! I find most of what he says pretty vacuous. He was just commenting before about saints lack of movement thru the midfield and about us making one more pass than we need to and not moving the ball quick enough. He literally said all of that about 10 minutes ago. Sounds pretty spot on to me 1
Saint Pete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 3 minutes ago, influx said: What game are some watching ffs. QPR on top for most of it?! Am I watching a different game? Maybe QPR on top is a stretch, but our play has been poor for large parts of that half, Sky put stats up that we showed we didn't have a shot for 30 mins or so after our goal and only one touch in the box. But I guess at least we have not allowed QPR clear chances while we have been in our poor periods. When we do deliver good ball in the box, we do look dangerous on the plus side. 3

qwertyell Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Give Jander a rest. He's on a booking and pretty off the pace lately. Not surprisingly. They only play 34 games in Germany - plus a winter break. We're on match week 34 already, in February. That's quite an adjustment to make, physically. 2
