FT. 3-1. Sloppy for the goal and gave them more hope than we should have but pretty comfortable overall. Without such poor finishing it could easily have been 5 or 6.

Azaz my MotM, pulling the strings throughout and played some lovely through balls for various people to miss.

A win but Not a totally convincing one the scoreline flattered the overall performance.... We got the job done though!

Looked like we were a bored cat playing with its prey, though we did get a bit lazy and complacent at times, which is a shame. At least we've conserved energy I guess, but I would've liked 5 goals and a clean sheet.

Wrexham win. Charlton should've got something from the game. Hey ho.

Wrexham won't lose many between now and the last two games where they have Middlesbrough and Coventry.

3 goals, 3 points, 8 unbeaten, rested players and keeping up the pressure on the play off teams...
What an improvement from the first half of the season.
Fair play and well done...

Here's the real bugger, they have not won a home game in the league all season. We all know how good SFC are at breaking records. Best not this time! I am thinking we will struggle a bit early doors but run out 1-3 winners.

Sadly for mental Mickey, I called it right at 1-3. Still, he likes to make himself look the twat he is on a regular basis.

3 players for my brother's over 50s WF team have suffered broken legs in the last 2 years.

VAR might have a hand in that

VAR taking forever to work out of it was a "clear and obvious" refereeing error

So as well as being hard work it's dangerous too!

Ah well - shame really as that was turning out to be a madcap game

There's a line between our patient approach and an apathetic one. We took our foot off the gas, and slowed. Charles getting on the wrong side, allowed a Wednesday attack. That was the move where they ended up winning 3 headers to get it past Peretz. But it was just one of the occasions where our positioning and passing got sloppy.

THB is a danger from corners, and got us our cushion back. A nod to Matsuki who took players with him as he attacked the centre.

Yates could have got Wednesday a second before the end, in a move that was more inclusive than anything we'd delivered that half.

Even then, had Edozie passed rather than shot, it could have been 4.

Can't argue with a win. The players will know they'll have to be sharper against better opposition, to keep a play off drive going.

Well, what will be put down as a routine win with us not getting out of second gear for most of the match - but I never felt we'd 'put the game to bed'. Even at the end we invite pressure and we're still bad at defending corners, so why risk conceding so many?
Archer, I mean how many more chances is he given ahead of someone else? It was like bringing an extra defender for Wednesday - his main contribution was to block Scienza's almost certain goal!

Pretty disjointed performance really not sure matsuki has enough pace to play out wide.  not many brilliant performances today probably give man of the match to manning azaz worked hard too and Bree just keeps giving feels a bit of a meh day with all the teams above winning but another 3 points in the bag

Looking at the table we have the best form in the league over the last 5 matches.

It is better than that, we have the best record in the league since Eckert took charge.

Potential banana skin avoided. In truth it was a fairly comfortable routine win achieved without busting a gut. All we can do is keep winning our games and see where that takes us.

I watched most of their second half today and they didn't look anything special to me. As I say, Charlton deserved something from the game. Wouldn't surprise me if they drop points over the coming games.

That's what Wrexham fans are saying about Saints.

April's going to be fun:

3rd: Ipswich (H)

6th: Wrexham (A)

11th: Derby (H)

21st: Bristol City (H)

With Swansea (A) and Blackburn (H) in there as well.

That's when we'll see what this side is really made of.

All that matters is results now. Whilst it would have been nice to have banged in 5 or 6, can’t be unhappy with 3 points away from home. They’re pretty pony, but they are going to pick up a result or two before the end of the season, so it’s nice to get the job done.

Nobody really shone that much, but nobody (apart from Archer) was pony. Good save at the end, Azaz was ok, hard to pick a man of the match. Thought the big lump upfront showed a lack of quality and showed that he has brain to challenge Adam Armstrong’s offside stats.

No injuries, no important bookings, in and out with 3 points. Let’s do the same at West Brom.

3-1 win for us.

Not convinced we’ll keep a clean sheet but we need to absolutely bully the teenagers that SW will have playing.

We can’t be complacent.

Do you know the lottery numbers?

Just got home. Meh, not an inspiring performance. Lots of Martin-esque passing around with very little intensity. But we played well enough to beat a very poor side so job done.

Larin had a few good moments but his touch is poor. Should have got that shot on target in the first half.

Manning was fine, because he had very little defending to do on his side so was able to link up well with Leo, who had a fairly quiet game.

Edozie was fairly bright when he came on but really should have done better with that chance or squared it. Poor.

Archer... Jeez. I actually feel sorry for the guy in many ways. He's basically just doing a Downs impression now and it's painful to watch.

Dunno, I think the 'feelgood factor' will help them along.  Would like to see them have 5 or more draws as that'll slow them down. And they do have to play Hull, so hope for a 0-0 with 3 sendings off on each side in that one.

Awful match, generally very low quality, one of the worst, but, who cares, 3-1 winners is what we need to keep doing, well done lads, could've easily been a banana skin today but job done.
