There are also the players returning from loan spells. BBD, Sugawara etc.

Thank God for that.

Give it a few years and we'll be playing against them in the league.

Wear the Eastleigh top and our spies will blend right in.

That's Eastleigh, the large suburb of Southampton with a long and well-documented connection to Southampton FC.

Well done lads, they'd never have seen through that

🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is actually just funny now. The absolute fucking state of them

It is absurd, but it was at Eastleighs training ground not like he travelled up to Ipswich wearing it.

I can only assume we incriminated ourselves through our own communications, rather than being caught out on the day so it did work if that was the case.

Agreed. I think he would have resigned or been forced to resign. It would help our case mitigation i.e. "we've dealt with this". Dragan has £200m at stake and as much as he and we love Tonda, that would be his main focus. I'm confident therefore Tonda wasn't directly involved.

Well it shows what I know. They absolutely should have sacked him before the hearing after the internal investigation.

Are well all in agreement that Will Salt was representing/working for or on behalf of Saints, and did not randomly wander up to Boro's training ground for his own academic research?

Now we have much more information than we had this time yesterday, yes, I would say that's the current position 👍🏻

So we got 2 points taken off our penalty for cooperating. Without cooperation it would have been 6 points plus play off expulsion.

Leicester broke the financial rules for ages, didn't cooperate and got 6 points penalty.

Hardly seems fair.

Fair enough, wouldn't want to hurt anyone's fucking feelings, Kate might be on my case. Fuck off.

Instead of this pointless appeal have we found anyone with PR expertise yet? Still no comment from the shambles that is SFC.

In fairness, she seems to be top.

Maybe we ignored her advice, or maybe Parsons had fucked things too much by the time she got involved.

Yeah her background is brilliant - this isn't on her. More likely we just fucked up enough for it to be "minimise the amount of book throwing" situation ...

It's not that pointless. It'll go before an entirely new panel of three legal experts who might have a completely different opinion on whether expulsion is proportionate or not.

If you’re angry at the lawyers in this then you’re being weird. Even weirder if you’re mocking their previous work.

I still feel numb and gutted on the brink of our greatest day and the clowns at the club have taken everything away and not only that jepordised the entire future of the club! And for what???? A complete clusterfuck of a decision! The only way the club will survive is a change of ownership and a clean slate of all management and training staff allowing players that want to leave to do so... We all know SR aren't going to leave quietly

Yesterday? How was that not immediately obvious to everyone this whole time?

Given the latest revelations I have to wonder what it is that Tonda Eckert was itching to say during the play-off semi. 🫣

It will be “I didn’t know it was wrong”

I'm not mocking her previous work, simply pointing out that it doesn't really qualify her to go up against the kind of ruthless sharks Gibson would have summoned up.

Given that he's been proven to be not that fussed about telling the truth I don't think it matters now.

Nick De Marco, who effectively got Leicester off with serious sanctions

If he didn't think it was a problem, why did he send our guys dressed in another teams kit in order to make us less suspicious? If he thought this was all normal, then surely they'd just turn up and get kicked away when told. Not hide in bushes/tress and wear oppo kits.

Yep, agree... That info came out after I wrote my post...  The page count on here is going up quicker than I can read...! (I'm still an hour behind in catch up mode)

It very clearly states that she has experience working for a wide range of sporting organisations, which is clearly relevant to us. How does also working in discrimination cases make her any worse at representing Saints?

I've no idea why you're being nasty towards her.

Exactly. And we had an expert in sport based transgender discrimination. Marvellous.

So glad Arsenal won the league last night, it is taking the spotlight away a little on the main sports media, but only a little!

You did mock it. And again just to be clear this isn’t about who has the best lawyers and if you’re in territory where you are starting to think it might be then you’re being weird.

We will be rudderless by Mid June. CEO, DoF and Manager all need to resign with immediate effect. utterly shambolic behaviour. Parsons may not of known but FFS he should have in place a code of conduct that is clearly understood and upheld.

If true pics of Salt in camo gear openly shared in WhatsApp groups it shows the absolute arrogance of everyone involved (including the analysts) that they thought it was amusing.

utterly shameless from all involved.

POTENTIAL BOLLOCKS ALERT:

Just spoke to a friend who said he'd heard that we have evidence of other clubs spying this season.. IF this is true the EFL will be up shit creek - what do they do then?

Doesn't mean we get off of course but the league will be in dissary.

Suing our own manager, for our own failure to supervise his activity. Can't see that getting off the ground.

What an utter fucking shambles.

Yep, especially if Sport Republic have neglected the statutory compliance function within the club for several months, as some have insinuated...

I wondered about this. If we have evidence of multiple other clubs doing it then wtf happens then?
