Hamilton Saint Posted Wednesday at 13:57 Posted Wednesday at 13:57 It's unfortunate to see Walker-Peters end his time at SFC. He was one of the more consistent performers during his time at the club, and I was always glad to see him in the lineup on matchday. His forays down the wing were always good to see, and he was one of the few players, in recent memory, who liked to dribble and take on opposing defenders. His ability to play on the left, as well as the right side, was an added bonus. I wish him well. 7 3
saintant Posted Wednesday at 14:03 Posted Wednesday at 14:03 Good luck to KWP. One of the good guys so sorry to see him go. Deserves all success at his next club. A great servant for us in his time here. 15
Colinjb Posted Wednesday at 14:11 Posted Wednesday at 14:11 A model pro. Sorry to lose him, and to say that about any of the players we've had over the past 12 months is quite the achievement. Hope he moves to a decent club, he's earned it. 11
sockeye Posted Wednesday at 14:13 Posted Wednesday at 14:13 Good player, surprised he ended up staying after 2022/23 to be honest. Likely more a victim of his environment though, England isn't exactly short of full-backs. Anyway, all the best to him and hope he lands a decent move. 4
davefizzy14 Posted Wednesday at 14:55 Posted Wednesday at 14:55 KWP is a class act and a loyal servant to us. I so wish he was staying 😔 7
Dark Munster Posted Wednesday at 15:01 Posted Wednesday at 15:01 One of the very rare trades to or from Spurs that we didn’t get ripped off. Quality player. Amazing he didn’t leave after we got relegated. I’m sure most of us wish him the best with his new club. 5
Saint86 Posted Wednesday at 15:02 Posted Wednesday at 15:02 I think the fact that basically no saints fan will say a bad word about him says it all, doubly so as a great many will have only positive things to say. That's no mean feat having been part of the two worst Southampton teams in recent history as well 🤣. Fair play to him for sticking around last relegation, and for continuing to give his all this year with his contract running down and risking a bad injury etc. Can only wish him all the best - A great signing for us all in. Think my favourite moment for him was his first goal (i think) against Man City 🔥🔥 5
Pamplemousse Posted Wednesday at 15:14 Posted Wednesday at 15:14 Sad but not a surprise. Good luck to him. He always gave his all, you can't ask much more than that, a model professional to any kid. 1
Lighthouse Posted Wednesday at 15:24 Posted Wednesday at 15:24 Stayed two years longer than I expected, so fair play. Will probably end up doing a reasonable job for West Ham, Everton or similar.
beatlesaint Posted Wednesday at 15:26 Posted Wednesday at 15:26 The one player I’m genuinely sorry to see go. We got great service out of him and I wish him well wherever he goes. 4
Lee On Solent Saint Posted Wednesday at 15:33 Posted Wednesday at 15:33 Probably one of my favourite players from the last few seasons. Never complained, just got on with playing. 3
Totton Saint Posted Wednesday at 16:36 Posted Wednesday at 16:36 We take Llalana COME back but let KWP go on a free instead of giving him a new contract. What folly,

Andrew Watson Posted Wednesday at 17:26 Posted Wednesday at 17:26 Very good footballer and a very sound human being as footballers go. Good luck with your future Kyle. 2
LuckyNumber7 Posted Wednesday at 18:01 Posted Wednesday at 18:01 Nothing but respect for KWP, my favourite player over the last few years. Always played with a smile on his face and gave his all even when everything around him looked hopeless. Quality player. Sad that he's going but he's given us great service. Good luck Kyle! 2
LiberalCommunist Posted Wednesday at 18:07 Posted Wednesday at 18:07 Inevitable parting of ways, but goes with blessings. Good lad, best of luck to him. 2

Kyle deserves a testimonial even if they are no longer fashionable. He would get a terrific send off from the fans. S-Clarke Posted Wednesday at 18:44 Posted Wednesday at 18:44 One of my favourite players during this period of crapness, since he came here in 2020 he's been excellent for us. Always shows up, always present, hardly ever injured, plays anywhere you ask without moaning. The one thing that always shocked me is how we kept him in the Championship, a player of his ability sticking with us was ridiculous. He'd have had takers, no doubts, and other players would have kicked up a fuss saying they want out - but he didn't, he stuck to it and gave 110% that entire season. His last season won't be remembered by many, as it was miserable for everyone really, but I'll always appreciate his efforts in the good times as well as the bad. I hope he gets a good move and gets some further England caps to his name. He deserves everything given to him. 7
sfc4prem Posted Wednesday at 18:51 Posted Wednesday at 18:51 Great player for us over a few pretty shite years really. Deserves a chance at playing in a decent PL side. 1

madge Posted Wednesday at 20:17 Posted Wednesday at 20:17 Conducted himself with class.. always gave 100% in my view and always fronted up to interviews after poor performances. 2
Osvaldorama Posted Wednesday at 20:27 Posted Wednesday at 20:27 Brilliant player, seemingly an even better person. Deserved better players around him. Good luck in the future 2

Midfield_General Posted Wednesday at 20:33 Posted Wednesday at 20:33 Just to repeat what I said on the other thread: At still only 28, he'll be a very shrewd free acquisition for someone. Superb player, superb professional and a lovely fella too. I met him in the players' lounge this season and he couldn't have been nicer, stopping to have plenty of photos with the kids, chatting to them and so forth, which was especially good of him as it was after a defeat (obviously). One of my favourite players of the last ten years. A grafter and a class act who will be sorely missed, and I wish him all the best wherever his career takes him next. Would love to see him back in some capacity in the future. 5
Oldandtired Posted Wednesday at 20:47 Posted Wednesday at 20:47 As others have said I hope he gets a good move. To my mind he has been a true Saint and should be remembered as such. 4
Suhari Posted Wednesday at 21:17 Posted Wednesday at 21:17 Good guy, good player. Glad we had him here. Wish him all the best. 2

One of my favourite Saints players of the last 20 years. Loved watching his silky skills. Respected his willingness to stay after the relegation and appreciated his qualities as a good bloke/decent human being. Go well KWP. 2
musesaint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Another genius level performance in mismanagement by the club. How on earth has one of our best players been squandered? Leaving on a free ffs! Truly awful management by the club and a massive loss to Saints. 1 6

A factor might be in how he has been treated along the way and played frequently on the left. The way he was dropped for the new best thing Livramento was disgusting
Dank Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago During the 23/24 promotion season there were many times he was our best attacking player and the best defensive player in the same game. We will miss him this season. 3

When we came down he had 2 years left, there was no way he'd sign in the Championship as he was going to see where we are. Respect to him for sticking around that year in a level way below him. He only had 1 year left upon promotion and I think in his mind he wanted to see how things settled, if we were pushing mid-table/upper table come October/November I reckon you'd have seen a new deal announcement. I'm one for calling out the club on all sorts of shit over the last few years, but it's silly to think we haven't tried to keep him - but the timings have all favoured KWP's really, and at the end of the day it's his call and he played it how he felt was best for his career. We didn't just sit there and forget to offer him a deal, believe me.

Mr Brightside Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Wish him all the best, great player, great pro, will really miss him.
Saint_clark Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Great player for us overall, no ill feeling towards him leaving, no particular warm feelings either though as he wasn't part of any great success. He'll go down as a solid servant who did his job, for me.
Vancouver Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Class act. Deserved a better team and club than us the last couple of years but stuck to his task with total professionalism. Added some much needed flair in a dreadful season. Wish him well. Think it'll be Fulham who benefit from our loss.
