Fingers crossed it's a Leeds vs Saints grudge match 🤞

I thought Peter was one of the better ones?

I like Seb Hutchinson's commentary personally.

Chelsea 0-3 Man City

Well, looks like Liam Rosenior can retire on a nice big fat few million quid payout at the age of 41. Well done him. Can I be the next Chelsea manager please?

Man City are winning the league

They have Arsenal to play too. The huge decider. It's very possible Arsenal can literally bottle everything of their quadruple hunt and it's lovely that we were a part of it.

It's their prison day release kit, for when the sentencing is made.

I saw the start of the first half. Incredibly dull. Other than Sideshow Bob having a goal ruled out.

Maybe I just need a favourite. The club once owned by a Russian crook, who have just been fined for breaking transfer rules for years.

Or the club with over 100 charges against it. So long in reaching a conclusion, you'd think the government was telling the PL to bury it, as it wasn't in our national i test (se also Blair and bribery).

Choices, choices...

Peter “Dreary” is a pain in your ears - When he was on ITV machining through boxes of Mansize Kleenex commentating on Top 6 teams against the rest like Saints who were mere cannon fodder, there to be scored against at will and plucky if they had the temerity to put up  a fight, or god forbid be Winning.

Like you I’m happy with Seb on comms too

Tbh City are a much better footballing side than Arsenal who apart from set pieces look very average. I don't think they'll win anything.

It's tough. I don't really want City to win yet again. But watching Arteta combust with inner fury on the touchline, as they bottle it, will be hilarious.

Relegation is a win anyway this year...

Leeds - historic grudge

Forest - crooked owner who, after lambasting his own manager on the touchline, deserves everything he gets.

West Ham - crooked former owners, and crooked stadium deal.

Spurs - hilarious, with me trying to shed a crocodile tear at the loss of a super league club from the PL.

The stats from the game suggest the skates were getting battered as well. So fucking annoying. They should be gone really but have got lucky with some last minute winners.

Still fuming about it. 2nd in the league fighting for automatics and they lose to that shower. Dropped 2 places out of the automatics because of it. Them and Leicester going down would be arguably as sweet as us getting promoted.

He's Chelsea but no doubt has a soft spot for them having worked down there on radio covering their matches. But you're correct, he is a cunt and somehow steals a living commentating on games.

I'd like to see Sheff Wed get four more points to end the season outside of the points deficit. They have shown a great spirit in the last couple of games. Hopefully they can get back on track next season, but they'll probably just get another massive deduction.

Same. I always liked Wednesday and their fanbase, real shame what's happened to them.

Indeed. I've lived in Sheffield for over twenty years now, and despite having lived on the Utd side of the city the whole time, I've always had much more of an affinity with Wednesday and most of my friends up here are Wendys.

They've been criminally mismanaged for over a quarter of a century now, but the fans still turn up in good numbers and show amazing support considering the years of shit they've had to put up with.

I really hope for their sake that the current takeover bid from Arise doesn't fall through like the last one did, because I think they could be properly screwed if that happens.

Looks like West Brom are the next team to get a points deduction for financial shenanigans. They're trying to defer it until next season though, let's see

I’ll be fucking raging if the skate cunts survive due to two teams point deductions!

Three in WBA, Sheffield Wednesday and Leicester, but Wednesday’s deduction is moot since they would’ve finished bottom anyway (just like the Skates when they got “punished”).

From today’s Telegraph who broke the story:

the EFL’s club financial reporting unit assessed their accounts for compliance, West Brom were informed of an alleged breach. The club have 14 days to respond from the date of the charge. The EFL has declined to comment.

In a statement released on Monday afternoon, the club said: “West Bromwich Albion acknowledges media reports relating to the club’s compliance with the EFL’s profit and sustainability rules.

“The club considers that it has fully complied with the P&S rules. The club will continue to co-operate with the EFL’s club financial reporting unit and looks forward to resolving this matter. Albion understands the concerns of supporters and thanks fans for their unwavering support of the team, whose success on the pitch during the final four games of the season remains our absolute priority.

I simply cannot understand how Drury is lead commentator on Sky, he is fucking awful. Every goal bound chance he shouts “and (insert name)”, drives me mental.

Leeds 1-0 up at Old Trafford. Hope they hold on to further damage Spurs chances of staying up

Me too, Forest have picked up and are better sides than Spurs or West Ham, Leeds win or even a point tonight really puts those two under the pump. It’d destroy them financially if they went down. Spurs with the stadium debt/wages and West Ham owe £100m plus in owed transfer fees this summer alone.

Leeds 2-0 up, it's happening....

Leeds run-in is at least comparable to Spurs, West Ham or Forest so if they do win tonight then can’t see them dropping realistically with 36 on the board.

Forest should get at least two more wins and a draw so it looks like a London head to head.

Pity they’ve both played each other already.

Yeah, Leeds have got Wolves and Burnley at home, plus Brighton.

They’ll have a major say either way as visiting Spurs, and West Ham final day.

Forest have Burnley at home next, Sunderland away, a fading Newcastle home, Man U away and Bournemouth home final day.

Spurs must beat Brighton next week or too much to do. If they can, they go to Wolves, Villa Park a toughie, but then Leeds home, Chelsea away and finishing Everton home.

Hammers, Palace away, Everton home, Brentford away, Arsenal home, Newcastle away and finish with Leeds home.

West Ham probably have the worst run-in but not by a lot.

The bad news is it’ll boost their confidence ahead of our FA Cup final.
